    8/25/22 I had ** install 16 windows and a storm door. At the end of day the lead installer handed me paperwork to sign.The document stated, I quote"missing screen" also "storm door damage from factory window world to come back to install new door." Also,"please pay installer upon completion." The lead installer and I signed the document. A week later I was notified by bank that ww put thru my financing, and job was not complete. I reversed payment until job is finished. I had called ww and talked to **** asking why they took the money for a job not complete. **** said, " we ordered a part to repair door, repairing door and providing missing screen is a service. " I said the installer said door is defective from factory will install new door, her reply was "that is wrong!!! We ordered z strip." A few weeks passed without notification of replacing door or providing missing screen. Sept. 19th **** from ** called, that morning she found out I disputed the payment. **** wanted to schedule Oct 4 to repair the damaged door and bring screen. I replied, installer wrote door is damaged from factory and ** will install new door, her reply was "that is wrong!!!". I ended conversation and called back and talked to *****, I said I want a new door as put in writing by your installers contract. She said it is not a contract! Sept 20 **** from ** called me. I stated I have in writing you will install new door. **** said we will try to repair it with zstrip. The ** installer wrote door is damaged from factory will install new door. **** WANTS TO REPAIR A DAMAGED DOOR. I am paying for a new door not something damaged by factory. ** should trust their expert installers in the field. Sitting at a desk doesn't give you the perspective the installer has on the door.

    We are responding to customer complaint from **************************** 

     

    On August 25, 2022 *************************** 16 windows and 1 storm door were installed. On the completion certificate the installed noted a missing screen and a storm door was damaged and to come back and install a whole new door. *************************** dign sign the completion certificate on 8-25-22. We have ordered the screen and will arrive in our ware house on 9-28-22. We have obtained a new storm door and will install both storm door and screen on the scheduled date with *************************** on October 4, 2022 from 11AM to 12PM.

     

    We are confident that this will rectify the situation and satisfy the customer.
