  I am currently employed as an Accounting Manager and have been involved with accounting throughout my career. I became a PRO user after reviewing ********************** with a CFO at a previous employer. He agreed that this would be a useful tool to have available to me and the accounting department. The detail and amount of accounting information available in AccountingCoach has been very helpful in my career. There are so many challenges to accounting work. Having AccountingCoach to find answers for general and specific processes has been valuable to me. It has helped me to work through challenging issues and to just get a refresher on basic accounting situations. It is reassuring to know that I will always have this tool at my disposal.

  As an Oregon Small Business Development Center (SBDC)Advisor, Oregon Construction Control Board (CCB) trainer and of course Small Business Entrepreneur, my experiential background was heavy on government contracting, leadership, and strategic and operational planning. But I was a novice on most things bookkeeping and accounting until Harold A******* and the Accounting Coach site was brought to my attention. I signed up for the concise and clearly written content that walked me through the entirety of accounting while seamlessly letting me review and use any specific topic. Coaching small wannabe want contractors on the topic of asset depreciation kept coming up in class - among a lot of other bookkeeping and accounting topics. Certainly I understood the basics but that only tantalized the audience. for the details. SO ... I turned to my "go to" AccountingCoach.com. 4 lessons on depreciation, a quiz and some scenario based Q&A later and suddenly I'm a sage advisor being asked for accounting advice (which I respectfully declined to give). I recommend the site regularly and I recommend it as a startup first steps and planning precursor to consulting a CPA. At a minimum learn the accounting language. The materials are laid out clearly, well written, easy to understand, and speak to what I need to know.   I have been working as a volunteer Treasurer for a small 501c3 charity for few years. Accounting Coach has been invaluable as Im a one man show and they rely on me to do everything in the full accounting cycle (setup Chart of Accounts, payables, receivables, journal entries, general ledger, reconciliations, financial reports and taxes). Im not sure where Id be without this resource. Its been like having a mentor to turn to when I get stuck or have questions. Ive enjoyed learning so much that now I wish to leverage my volunteer experience and become a full time accountant! Being inexperienced has caused an few employers to hesitate on hiring me. The certificates offered here are the key metric I need to show my competency and break into this career field. I dont know of any other resource for the value where you can get this kind of help and skills. Thank you Mr. Harold************************, your gift of teaching is a true blessing to us all.

  I cant believe how much more confidence AccountingCoach Pro has given me and I never want to be without it! I received my degree in accounting but still found that I had questions and did not feel confident in my abilities to perform in my new position as an accountant in a small contract manufacturing company. Because of this I purchased the PRO version so I can study sections I was not clear about and then test my knowledge. Being able to keep track of what you have studied is great but what I love most is that I am able to figure out what I need more help in with the tests and then have the flash cards to help me understand those areas better. Even so much so that I have challenged decisions from our Controller and able to intelligently discuss my reasoning and be granted permission for change. Any person wanting to become a bookkeeper or accountant would benefit from using AccountingCoach but having the Pro version takes it to the next level!

  If you want to learn, or think you might be interested in, accounting or bookkeeping, AccountingCoach.com is a great and free/low-cost way to really learn the fundamentals. Leading up to my retirement, I explored different second-career options that would be stimulating and rewarding, but also give me the flexibility I desired. I learned about bookkeeping and really developed an interest for it. From the beginning, I saw AccountingCoach.com and Mr. A******* being highly and widely praised. AccountingCoach.com has helped me understand proper accounting skills that can be applied regardless of the accounting system or software I use. This is great because although there is a lot of software out there that simplifies bookkeeping, I don't think it should be used without having a thorough understanding of the processes and knowing whether it's working properly. I definitely believe AccountingCoach has helped me become a better, more reliable, and more intelligent bookkeeper. I became a PRO user because I believed it was important to keep track of my studies and use as many resources as possible to absorb the information. I like how the material is presented in a variety of ways (reading, video, flashcards) that reinforce my learning.   I have been a bookkeeping professional for five years, and Accounting Coach Pro Plus has been a tremendous resource for me. The material is well-organized for studying and the Certificates of Achievement for each module validate learning. The various methods of instruction (flash cards, video tutorials, and printed materials) appeal to all learning styles. This program has allowed me to expand my understanding of accounting principles and reporting, and to easily locate information when I need to refresh my training on a particular topic.   Personally, from being a student to actually dealing with daily transactions, this is the go-to source for any accounting related material.   As a new business owner, I needed a practical resource to rely upon for accounting and book keeping information, and Accounting Coach was a perfect fit. When I first started my small business, I was frustrated because I had to rely upon other people for accounting and bookkeeping advice, and it was costly. I upgraded to PRO not because I needed any certificates, but because it unlocked more value and helped further my own education.
