      7-25-22 Filled out Purchase Order # **** for Beechcraft V35A, Bonanza Model with "Gift of Wings" while visiting E.A.A. ***********, Oshkosh Wi.. Order taken by ***** ****** 8-13-22 Mailed 38 ea. 8x10 photos of the Bonanza *************** memory card of 8x10 photos.9-15-23 ***** ****** called & told me I would get the model by 10-31-2023.12-13-23 I called ***** ****** @************. He would not tell me his name. I told him mine and I was calling to get an update on my order #**** dated 07-25-22. He told me the order was delayed by Covid but I would get it by Christmas, 12-25-23.3-7-24 I sent "E" mail to "Gift of Wings" on their website requesting status of my order#**** placed 7-25-22. NO RESPONSE 7-11-24 Call from ***** ******, GOOD NEWS, your model will be in the second or third week of August. Stop by and see him at his booth at Air Venture; *********************#************.10-1-24 Called ***** ****** @ ************ and he answered the phone. I told him I was checking on my order# **** and he said he had the model. I asked him to send me a picture of the model. He said that he could not do that because the model is in the Phillippines. He said the model is on the list of models to be shipped in the next container. I asked him to "E" mail me the list showing my model. He said he could not do that. It has been 26 months since I placed my order. Every time i requested a status of the order, HE LIED to Me; including today when he said he had the model and then said it was in the Phillippines. When I asked him to send me a copy of the Shipping List showing my model and order number, he refused.I WANT MY SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS BY 31 OCTOBER 2024.

      Regarding the Complaint of Mr ************* certainly apologize for the delays and inconvenience in his model delivery.  The models are made in the *********** and Covid restrictions went on a lot longer than they did in the **************  It affected production and freight delivery times and still does, but to a lessor degree. I did mention this to Mr **** on several occasions.  Delivery dates from **** are rarely absolute and can change from time to time, and this frustrates me as well.  At this moment, his model is en-route from the *********** and depending on customs inspection do take 2-4 weeks to arrive.  They left the *********** late because they have to fill a container before they will ship.  I did tell Mr **** late August departure from the ***********, but that did not happen until last week.  I have little control over exact departure dates.  I will say that I NEVER told Mr **** that I had the model in my hands. I would never say that if it were not true.  I told him that the model was completed and still in the ************  I apologize if he miss-understood that.  I also never give my name to callers until I know who the caller is.  There are too many spam calls and I and all businesses have to be careful.  Once I knew who was calling, I did identify myself.  Our customer list is proprietary  information and I never give out that information in a written form to anyone. Tonight, I have mailed a refund check to Mr. **** in the amount of $600.00 along with my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience.  When the model arrives, I will call him and offer his model to him for the same price as he paid.       Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
       I received a check from GIFT OF WINGS signed by ***** ****** for the amount of SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS($600.00) on monday 21 October 2024.  On tuesday 22  October I took the check to my bank and asked my banking officer if there was any way we could verify the check was good. My banking officer said we could call the bank and verify the funds were available. My banking officer called the bank listed on the check (routing number) and asked them if they could verify funds available on the account of **********************. The Bank said they would not confirm that GIFT OF WINGS had an account with them. My banking officer said the only other option is to deposit the check and see if pays. It would take at least ten (10) days for it to clear. Based on your ten day allowance for closure I will not know if the check will pay within that time frame. Based on my experience so far the check will probably not pay and you will close the complaint as satisfied after ten (10) days.  If ***** ****** was interested in maintaining a respectable business profile he would have sent me a Cashiers Check.
         I cannot believe customers of ********************** are expected to wait two and a half years to receive their model .if they receive it at all.
