I had hired Infinity Pro Painting to paint the exterior of my home. He sent me an estimate by email on June 7, 2023 and we agreed to it. It lists all the work that needs to be done and the total payment was agreed at $5675.90. A copy of Estimate is attached. After completing the work, they sent me an invoice (a copy is attached) with additional payment for painting the interior of the gutters. They added point 8 to the invoice, which states this payment is for Painting inside of gutters around entire house. This amount is $1040 for painting. They have since reduced this amount to $700. Of the many is***s with this last point, the main one is that the work has not been done. They have given me photos of some gutters with just the primer on them. I am attaching photos of the gutter that they sent me. I am also attaching a photo of the primer. I am not even sure if all gutters have been primed. Furthermore, none of the gutters have been painted. The white paint that should have gone over the primer is missing. I have repeatedly asked them to provide photos of the gutters with paint on them, but they have not provided any. I can see some of the gutters from my second-floor window and I only see the primer and no paint on them. I am refusing to pay them anything till they can give me photos of having primed and painted all the gutters. They are saying that they will *** me and I will have to pay not only them but thousands of dollars to their attorney. They will put a lien on my house and garnish my salary. I am not understanding how they can claim payment for work that has not been completed. I want them to remove the additional charge from the invoice for work that was not done.
