    I would never purchase anything from this company again I would encourage others who are even thinking using there service please dont bother I had 18 windows install in September 2023 all of my screens to the windows have falling apart and ripping at the seams they receptionist inform me that there was a 60 days warranty but I was told by the sales man *********** it was a life time warranty and calling more then 10 time for some kind of support I was told sorry its it 60 years what a rip out when *********** was seeking our business all was well not he want even return our calls how about that for a great well done I wouldnt give the a half of star American Windows and doors they will rip u off

    On 2/10/21 ordered Soft-Lite Windows; 2nd story, 5 existing & 2 enlarged windows, full screens, some remodel needed. Job completed 7/19/21. Wrong wood framing-had to redo. Etched existing pocket doors by using long screws on new framing. Returned w/no tool to cut screws. We had to provide. No offer to fix ruined doors. Several windows didn't lock. Trips back to fix by changing sashes and tightening adjusting screws. Still didn't lock easily or at all and now couldn't pull down upper windows. Told to keep them shut till next summer, 2022. Did as advised, a bit better but still couldn't lock myself or open upper window. I'm small, but husband had difficult time too at 325 lbs. & 6'2" tall. Decided to give up on trying due to 2nd story location. Spring 2022 tried to clean screens. Unable to get out. Called company & sent over tech to remove. He used small crowbar and still took 15 minutes to get it out - same going back in. Dropped crowbar down stairs when leaving putting small home in drywall. "Oh well" was the response & left. Called Wes for resolution on screens. He was rude on phone and tired of talking with me. Told we should have paid more for flex screens. Didn't mention that when buying. Told Soft-Lite's equipment incorrectly calibrated resulting in issue. Have a fix. Will check if tried. Suggested they take full screens and give me free flex screens & other window issue would be accepted. Said he would talk with Brian. Return call to husband (typical). I called back and Brian said no deal. Too bad on screens but they'd do whatever to fix locking issues. We decided no more visits means no more damage to our home. I went with All American due to their nice looking windows, fair pricing and local company. I'm sorry I did. Workmanship very questionable, installation errors, no tools, no concern on damage, and slightly misogynistic atmosphere in sales/service. I am a construction steamfitter and was put off by this. DO NOT BUY HERE.
