    Date of transaction was November 10, 2023 Amount of money paid to business: $43.61 Ace Hardware ******* agreed to redo two window screens (replace screen with new screen)Approximately six weeks later, I came to pick up the finished screens. I left with two screens, brought them home and when my son came over to install them, we realized we were given the wrong screens. They did not fit my windows. They were completely different and were not the screens I dropped off. I brought the screens back to the store and spoke with River, an employee. He apologized for the error and took the screens. He promised to get back to me. Weeks passed and I heard nothing, so I called the store. I texted with ***** at least four or five times and he tried to be helpful, but his hands were tied. He referred me back to the manager. Not getting any resolution, I requested to speak to the manager. He was rude and seemed like he did not want to help me. He acted like I was trying to get one over on them!Finally, he promised to look into the situation. He said they were checking their records to see who they may have given my screens to, but he did not seem convinced that they would find them. He promised to get back to me. Many weeks passed and I heard nothing. I called again. This time we agreed they would have to make new screens. We set up an appointment for him and another employee to come to my home to measure the windows to ensure an accurate measurement. On January 26, they came to my house and measured the windows. The manager promised to keep me in the loop as to the progress of building my window screens. Weeks passed and I heard nothing. I stopped in at Ace Hardware in ******* on March 25 and spoke with the manager on duty, a woman. She wrote down my name and phone number and promised to give it to the manager. Today is Friday, April 5 and I have not been contacted by anyone.
