      Bought a **************** for my 71 Nova and took it to Extreme Audio in ******** for installation. After 2 hours was told they fried it. Sent it back and RetroSound said it was wired wrong but they would replace. After a hour they fried the second radio and charged me $115. Took car to ***** Audio and they corrected wiring but display was burned out. Bought a new radio from RetroSound and had ***** install and it works perfect. I have invested $214 for first radio, $90 for third radio, $13 for return shipping, $135 to ***** to fix the errors. I have contacted them many times and each time they say you should have check tomorrow. Tomorrow has been going on for two months now.

      ***** did get a refund sent out 9/25/23 for the amount he paid us which was $115.50. Just want it reiterate what really happened and yes ***** did bring us a stereo that he did not purchase from us and it was defective right out of the box. He was able to get a replacement and we swapped it out and did not charge for it we did it under our Workmanship Warranty and the radio left here working.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed 

      Flat out lies once again, oct 4 and no refund, bought first radio in June, sent it back at my expense, retrosound replace free of charge. Took second radio to store and they could not get it to work and charged me $115. Took car to ***** Audio and they got it wired correctly but display was burned out. ***** said way they wired it the radio was so hot it could not be touched. Bought third radio and took it to ***** Audio and everything works as it should. After talking to many people it is confirmed they should not be in business as it is obvious they don't know what they are doing and are not very honest. If need be I have all receipts from extreme, *****,  retrosound and copies of all emails from ***** and ****. Bottom line is I will end up eating $300 above the refund because of terrible workmanship.

      We can verify that the check did get sent out. After looking at the bank statement we can see that it has not been cashed yet. So if there is an issue with receiving it we can address that issue by voiding and reissuing a new one. As far as the product concern goes we can not stand behind product that is not purchased from us. ***** brought a radio in that was not purchased from here and was defective out of the box.

      I have received no check as of 10/10 and at no time was it ever mentioned there would be a problem with a radio bought from RetroSound. I was told check was sent on 25th and then 10 days later it was not sent, then told on the fourth it was sent??.

      The check was sent out on the 25th of September. Again, if it's an issue of it not being received we can void it out and reissue another check.

      I received a check of $115.50 from extreme audio which is what I paid them. Though I ended up buying the radio twice I am done fighting and walking away, case closed.

      No receipts, inconsistent pricing *****. I would like to be refunded the difference quoted.

      Purchased a **************** for my **** Nova. Took it to Extreme Audio and in there words they fried it. RetroSound was nice enough to replace it. As of this morning they fried the second radio and owner ***** said its my problem because I didn't buy radio from them. They charged me $115 to install radio.

      ***** did bring a radio that he did not purchase from us which we were happy to install. The 1st one did short out and the company he purchased radio from was kind enough to replace. On the 2nd time we diligently went thru all the wiring to the radio with meters to make sure everything was correct. After verifying there was no problems with the car we reinstalled the new radio and worked flawlessly when it left the shop. ***** only paid for labor which was done not only once but the second time no charge. The problem is not with the install it is a problem with a product that we did not sell.
