      Capital Credit Union demonstrated multiple breaches of member confidentiality during a recent in-person visit. Staff not involved in the interaction interrupted and engaged without invitation, discussing matters that should have remained private—within earshot of other employees and members. A formal complaint was submitted, and I explicitly requested that all follow-up communication be handled via email only. That request was disregarded, and I was contacted by phone, disrupting my rest and violating my stated boundaries. My complaint was also escalated to other staff without notice or consent, further compounding the breach of confidentiality. Given these repeated violations and the disregard for privacy and communication preferences, I am concerned that continuing to do business with Capital Credit Union represents a financial liability.

      I chose Capital Credit Union because a friend suggested that I would be much better serviced and satisfied with a credit union over a bank. I have been greatly disappointed! I was given a debit card after joining this community credit union and in a matter of a few months several of my debt cards were flagged for fraud usage . When they brought to my attention the last fraud, I simply thought they would issue me another debit card, but instead the manager refused to give me one. I felt as though I were the one being punished and not the people who kept stealing my numbers. She gave me an ATM card and said I would have to deal in cash purchases only. I was shocked and this action has caused me great anguish because I am a single 76-year-old woman and I suffer from many physical disabilities. I find it difficult and inconvenient to have to get cash all of the time to make purchases locally. I can only get my dog's food online, and I can't even do that because I have no debit card from my credit union and I rely on it, because I do not have a credit card. They didn't even seem to want to work with me on this. I highly recommend that no women and in particular senior women have this as their financial institution. Look elsewhere.

      I have been a customer of Capital for over 20 years, but I think it is coming to an end. Apparently, in regard to the below...Heather at ext 3063 is the culprit. I have a checking, savings, and a car loan with Capital. I spoke to an employee to promise payment in regard to my car loan but that it would be late. Now I go to get my rent money and found that they just decided that they would take payment without authorization from my savings account and left me with about $40! Now they want me to jump through hoops to get it back. DON"T TRUST THEM!
