On May 23, 2024 I purchased a product from the company. Earth Science Fast Acting Sulfur 25 lb granules on ******. Order # ***-7795840-7273841 .I applied it to my lawn with a lawn spreader on the recommended setting. Label said no need to water-in. Label states lawn is safe for immediate use by people and pets. I did water in the pellets. I kept my dog off the lawn for 3 days after ******** began having issues within a week. It wasn't until she became unable to walk and was in constant screaming pain 2 weeks later that I finally thought to wash her paws in castile soap and baking soda water solution, because she likely got some type of burn from the lawn sulfur.I had to apply ********* oil/coconut oil to rehydrate the burnt pad tissue on her paws. I had to wash the oil out and repeat the alkaline bath steps over and over, until she could use her legs again. During this process, I had to purhcase a large ****** to carry her in over my shoulder. I had to take 2 weeks off work to help her. I refrained from taking her to the emergency vet after phone calls to them revealed all they would do is charge me a bunch of money to let her stay there on fluids. She could walk again by early July. However, I had to spend 2 weeks off work nursing her daily ensuring she had stability. I am self employed delivery driver, so I was able to do this and dip into savings. Thankfully I was able to handle this on my own without the need of a vet's assistance. I do have phone call records of calls to various vet clinics during this time in my call logs should this documentation be requested, I can furnish it. I am extremely frustrated at the deceptive prospect that this product is "safe" for use by animals immediately after application. This is such an outrageous claim and it needs to be made right, right away. I have had a rough year and hadn't had time to file a complaint until just recently, but felt strongly it needed done.
