    Roof repair was done last year September. *** gave us the run around from the get go. He had lots of excuses as to why he couldn't start. for example his worker was late another one didn't have a driver license. After several days the job was supposedly complete. Now in May the roof rolled up and was not adhered correctly. We contacted the company again and told *** of the problem. He said it was a manufacture defect and would be able to replace it under warranty. For a week *** kept saying I will be there I will be there and then it was as soon as the materials arrive i will be on my way. But he never showed up. Then When I called him again on Saturday 8 days later. he was demanding 80 dollars for gas money which he had never mentioned before and then gave us an ultimatum that if we did not send it by ***** within 30 mins he was going to sell our materials off. He was very un professional and was cussing at me and my wife. Making threats and then trying to blame it on the weather. He sent us a screen shot of his bank account showing he only had $2.61 in his account and sent us another picture of his bald tires. And then went as far to tell me that he only had 3 months to live. All of which has nothing to do with his warranty work that he had promised from the beginning.

    There was a severe thunderstorm there were trees down, snapped off, tipped over in that immediate vicinity. I asked the customer to turn it into his insurance company, and he argued with that saying it was my fault and refused to turns out he doesnt have homeowners insurance so hes trying to get me to fix his storm damage roof for free. I went as far as to offer repairing it if he paid $80 for my gas for my trip round-trip to his house and back he refused to pay that I warranty my work. I stand behind my work, but I cant stand behind ask of god furthermore his brother-in-law told me on the phone that he already made repairs to it, which voids my warranty because his brother-in-law is not a roofer and I cant stand behind somebody elses work especially when Ive never seen what kind of work they do once again, I told him to turn into his insurance, and he put insurance thought it was workmanship or product failure. I would warrantee it.

    I used a debit card for **** of it and the rest, he kept asking for more cash.  I recorded every single one and for two of them ($500 and $400), he sent me a message verifying that he paid me.  I recorded the $700 payment and in the recording we discussed that I paid a total of $3750 and owe him $1250 when the job is completed.  He never completed the job.  I also had to buy $300 more in supplies, all of which I have receipts for.  I had to do a lot of the work myself and in addition to that, there were huge staples all over the place, one of them went into the sidewall and the tread part of one of my tires and I had to spend another $200 on that.  I tried to get all of the nails and staples up but it is difficult to get them all.  I still keep finding more in my driveway.  

    As far as how I heard about him, I made a post on a FB group for the community asking for suggestions on a reliable roofer.  He messaged me telling me how good he is and sent me his BBB profile.  I also looked it up to verify that it was real and it had an A+ rating.  That is what made me think that he was trustworthy.  If there were any negative things on that, I wouldn't have gone with him.  I have heard many horror stories about him since this happened and I do not know how he can get away with an A+ rating on BBB and be such a scammer.  This is what he does to most people he works with.  He threatens people and maybe that intimidates them from making a complaint or something but I promise you that he is not someone who deserves an A+ rating.  People rely on that and it implies that he has a good reputation.  He is a con artist.  I talked to the people who he hired to work on my roof for the one day that they did.   Apparently he just makes a post on FB asking people if they want to help with a roof, no experience necessary and he will pay them cash at the end of the day.  He did not pay any of the workers who showed up to work on my house the one day they did show up.  Many of them never touched a roof in their lifetime.  I could go on and on.  After he screwed me over, I did extra research and did find one company that had him listed and there were complaints about him that described what he did perfectly so I do not think it was just me.  
    er things. I just do not think he should have an A+ rating on here. That is what made me think he was a safe person to use. He said he is licensed and insured and lied about that too. Now that my roof is done, he is threatening me because I refused to give him the rest of the money when he didn't even put one shingle on my roof.
