On October 5, 2024 I purchased 2013 *** Arcadia SLT 1 Along with a service warranty contract that was supposed to cover everything fully. The transmission on the vehicle has gone bad. I took it to A Chevy dealer in *******, Wisconsin *** Chevrolet, and they said after flushing, the transmission that the transmission needed to be replaced I gave them all theinformation of the warranty company. They contacted The warranty company The name of the warranty company is auto Drive. What does financial department explain to me and my brother is that it would have the platinum wrap well it turned out that I only got the powertrain level, which is the and only covers the transmission for $2600. The *** Arcadia is not exactly the car that I want what I want it was a Dodge grandcaravan. They had one, but they said they could not sell it to me because the bank would not borrow me the money and there was no other vehicle that fit what I was looking for I feel I was into buying this vehicle with them, knowing that the transmission was bad and they bought the warranty on the assumption that it was going to cover everything likehe told us, but thats not what he sold me at the time. I really needed a car. I have been using my brothers car to drive **** I needed a nice car to drive **** because I am disabled and retired and theres something that I can still do and I enjoy doing it helpingpeople get home safely. I drive late at night so I can get the party people home. They need my help.I feel that Village auto is responsible for the remaining amount to replace the transmission Thank you very much, ******* J. *******

The underwriters for the lender (******************** on your loan) determine approvals.  They were not willing to approve the van, which is typically based on year, mileage, price, and/or book value.  The lender was willing to approve the Acadia, which you decided to purchase.  Please note that the lenders also set limits on warranty cost and our finance managers always explain the multiple coverage options.  This may have led to a miscommunication of the coverage package.

In regard to the transmission failure:  the transmission at the time of sale was functioning properly with no signs of a problem.  You were able to accumulate approximately ****** miles of driving before this happened.  However, Village Auto still decided to offer to replace the transmission with a used transmission and also replace the torque converter with a new torque converter for $1,000 cost to you. Which you declined.

We feel that this was a generous offer.

      Thank you.

To whom it may concern I do not agree with Village auto putting a used transmission and a new torque converter is not the proper way to fix it I am having it fixed at *** **** Chevrolet and Crivitz Wisconsin they are a GMC certified garage with GMC certified mechanics and a GMC certified new transmissionand I want village auto to be responsible

I was hesitant to buy the vehicle because GMC Arcadia have transmission problems around 130 to 150  thousand milesBut when the finance officer told us that the warranty would cover everything then I figured wellThatThe transmission went bad it would just be replaced. My brother was there with me. The finance officer never mentioned that the warranty was only good for $2900 for transmission repair. He never clarified what stage I was in all he gave me was the front page of the contract. There was other pages that went with that explained everything he did not give that to me. He heard my brother and I talking cause I told my brother well with The warranty will cover everything and I could just have the transmission changed. He never told me that I was not in the full tear and I feel he didnt tell me that because he knew if I knew that I would have not bought that car.

Furthermore, as for the purchase of the Dodge caravan,Capital credit union told me that when they ran the finances for the Dodge caravan they use the wrong Social Security number. Thats why it did not go through. I have always bought Dodge grand caravans I have driven **** for nine years. I have never had a problem where I had to changeA engine or transmission

All of this has greatly upset me I am disabled. I have heart problems. Ihave afibrillation. And congestive heart failure and all this stress is not helping me a tried to work so I can help people so I can get them home safely especially at 2 oclock in the morning
I want village auto to take responsibility for their actions and pay me were having my transmission fixed $4463. Furthermore, I feel they owe me lost wages in December I made over $5000 in January I made around $500 because I could not drive my vehicle because of the transmission so I feel they owe me $4500 so in total that is $8963

Thank you very much ******* *******

      Regards,

I bought a 2018 ***** *********** in February 2024. It is now going on September 2024. With the vehicle I also purchased a GAP plan snd to which I have as of yet to get a paper copy of the *********** information, name or anything about it after requesting twice since. The trax also had when i bought a failung turbo which wasnt fixed before sale. Its going to cost me to replace on my own. Also the cabin fan motor melted into itself whithin a week of leaving the lot and the check engine light a week later. I was told an orface in the manifold was moving around. Im no idiot, there is an orface innthe manifold but its not a movable one. Both times i was offered a 50/50 on my 30 day warranty. Turned it it was the sensor for the turbo. I really want information on the extra insurance im paying monthly on . And still no info on it.
