Overhead Door of Green Bay installed our 5 wood grained garage doors two years ago. When installing, they kinked three panels in one of the doors and said they would get more panels ordered. Still had to pay 120k out of the 140k. With no follow up call or updates, I finally get a call TWO YEARS LATER that the new panels come in. Mind you these doors have now been exposed to sunlight for two *******, so the color has faded, they are wood grained. The new panels would obviously NOT match the other doors. I worked with **** and he says one thing but does another. He sent me to a manager to rectify the situation and they still wanted me to pay 20k to leave it how it is. I offered 5k. Stay far away from this company!!

I met with ************************* at his home the morning of October 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.

Below is a summary of that job site visit with *********

The attached picture shows what he is concerned about. There are five doors total on this building. Only one panel on one door has the dent.

We received the warranty panel here after months of waiting for it (COVID Supply Chain Delays). He was contacted 4-6 weeks prior to me reaching out by Overhead Door of Green Bay to come out and replace the panel. He was not returning calls, so I reached out to him asking to meet on site.

**** is refusing to allow us out to replace the panel because he is saying it wont match the other doors which have been installed for over a year. I explained to **** that I have been in the fenestration business for over 35 years. Yes windows, doors, and garage doors can fade over time, but not in one years time like he is suggesting.

I offered to have the replacement panel brought out for him to look at it and compare against the installed doors. We would unpackage an lay up against the existing doors. Hes refusing to allow that to happen. Keep in mind we replace panels all the time. Some panels many years old.

Hes wanting all the doors to be replaced in lieu of just the warranty replacement panel. Makes no sense.

I asked what would make him happy. He offered to pay $5,000 of the $24,183.00 still owed. I told him I could not do that.

I suggested he pay $15,000 and we move on, and I would bring out and drop off the warranty panel.

He initially said no to the offer then offered $10,000 as we were parting ways. I told him I still could not do that.

***** personality is kind of a bully mindset. Thrives on confrontation. Making all kinds of threats. Simply told him I would report back to corporate credit group.

We have since sent this to our collections attorneys ********************************************** attorneys at law. This matter is currently with council in active litigation. To date, in response to the complaint, there have been no actions taken by ******** (with respect to the lawsuit) other than filing a complaint with the BBB.
