I've been told that it typically takes "an event" for a loved one to want to move to an independent living facility from the home they've loved. That was the case with my mom who LOVED the beautiful view from her condo all four seasons!When we most needed help, Smart Moves was there for us. Smart Moves sent caring, capable professionals who respected my mom and her wishes as she moved. My mom and family are grateful. We highly recommend you consider Smart Moves for your move!

Smart Moves is a savior in a very difficult time. Their staff are kind, responsive and so helpful. They understand every part of the process of moving a senior. They made my aunt feel so much better about her move from her home to a senior apartment - it was so overwhelming for her - but Melinda came and talked her through the entire process. They also have amazing referrals for taking care of every aspect of moving out of a home. I cannot thank them enough for the peace of mind they gave all of us!!Smart Moves

5 starsWe are so happy to have been referred to Smart Moves to help with the move of my 87 year old mother across the country. They gave us a reasonable quote, provided us great referrals to cross country movers and a company to help her rid of stuff, and also helped with odds and ends like a referral to a transport service to help my mom get to the airport in her wheelchair. I give SmartMoves my highest recommendation! Our move wasnt easy. The property our senior was occupying was under exterior renovations, limiting parking. The elevator failed two hours into the move, forcing movers to use the stairs. The unit suffered from more than thirty years of deferred maintenance and failure to clean. Nothing was organized. We were downsizing our senior and it was emotionally tough. SmartMoves shown a light on the path forward, making our transition as efficient as possible, yet what came across was kindness and respect every step of the way (many, many steps). Kudos for hard work and compassion! Couldnt have been better.Smart Moves

Smart Moves moved my elderly parents twice. They were very Careful organized thoughtful and kind. They wrapped up everything so thoroughly and put everything back exactly in the same place in their new apartment. They were extra kind with my parents and very quick as well. Moving my Wife of 50 years to a Memory Care facility was emotional ly challenging for our entire Family. The Smart Moves staff's kind and compassionate interaction with our Family helped minimize the stress connected with moving her from our home and planning the physical layout of my wifes new 'home'. Smart Moves then planned and negotiated the physical move to the Memory Care facility. The movers were experienced, careful and sensitive to the circumstances surrounding the move. The professional and sensitive manner in which Smart Moves performed their duties helped my wife transition to a new and strange environment. Having the Smart Moves staff handle those planning and moving functions allowed our Family to concentrate solely on helping my wife deal with the emotional issues she faced. Follow up contact from two Smart Moves representatives gave me addition assurance that they are a professional and caring organization.
