    The aluminum handle on my *** Pro **** press broke in half. I contacted president *************** and his assistant ***** would replace it under lifetime warranty with a steel handle. I asked if I could send a picture to save my shipping cost, but she required the broken part. Today **** said on the telephone that I would have to buy a new handle at 1/2 off their retail price and pay for shipping. As an 82 year-old disabled veteran on pension, I can't afford those costs, so **** is returning my broken handle so that I may bolt the pieces back together. *************************** Life Pistol Master Bronze Medal - National Pistol Matches

    *** Reloading Products are guaranteed not to wear out or break from normal use for two full years or they will be repaired or replaced at no charge, if returned to the factory.

    Our Lifetime Conditional Guarantee states that any *** product of current manufacture, regardless of age or condition, will be reconditioned to new, including a new guarantee, if returned to the factory with payment equal to half the current retail price plus any applicable taxes and Shipping. If we no longer manufacture a product, we would offer you the direct replacement of the product at half the current retail price plus any applicable taxes and Shipping.

    Since the customers pro **** is our original model, and we no longer have that handle available we responded with this:

    "We have received your Pro **** Handle. The handle you mailed in belongs to a pro **** Model that is no longer in production. The handles for this model are no longer available. You do qualify for a half price upgrade because you mailed this in. We can off the new pro **** kit to you at half price. Or if you wanted to upgrade to a different press, we can issue you $175 in merchandise credit to put towards a press of your choosing."

    Per phone conversation, we also offered a handle set up with the new steel toggle linkage at half price that would work on the customer's press (Roller handle upgrade kit MSRP $47 Product code 90074).

    purchased a set of carbide dies for .38 S&W apx. 2-3 years ago but did not attempt to use them till a few weeks ago when i opened the still sealed package - found that dies included in package would not expand the .38 S&W cases - later found that all dies + measure were for the different .38 special cartridges - after much contact with 3 customer service reps was advised that i could purchase a set of dies from third party for $28.00 due to fact the time was beyond their two year limit - clearly item was packaged + labeled in error by factory + i should not have to pay for a documented company error - re case # ******* -

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
    the 35 years mentioned is the date the dies were made + not when packaged + sold - they were purchased new + unopened apx. 2 -3 years ago , i did not open or try to use dies till a few weeks ago + immediately knew something was wrong - they sent me a seating die insert  to correct one problem but the others problems still exist   -  the 50% they offered is on a very drastically inflated price + not a realistic 50% discount - the internet is currently filled with negative comments on *** products + totally lacking in customer service - a mistake on their behalf is still as mistake + several others on internet forums have posted negative comments on ****** + her  mishandling of legitimate customer service issues -
