I was a client of Lifespan Psychotherapy from July 2023-November 2023. Throughout that time, my billing was never consistent. I was charged varying amounts as can be seen in the attached documents. The most concerning thing is that I was overcharged and then given a credit, which stayed in my account. I have attempted to contact the company for weeks to ask for the credit to be given back to me, and they have not responded. I was also charged an extra $350 for a "price adjustment" for my previously charged therapy sessions. I was not given a warning or explanation of this charged until I asked, and they said it was because my insurance changed. My employer switched providers on 11/1/23, and I gave Lifespan Psychotherapy my new insurance information but nothing was ever adjusted. I am very frustrated with this process and would like to have my bills adjusted and to get the credit on my account back.

Please find the attached documents regarding the claim from **************************

******************** was provided a Good Faith estimate at the beginning of treatment and the charges throughout his engagement with Lifespan reflect the information. The Good Faith estimate was actually higher ($100) per session and his actual rate was $87.72 and $150 for the diagnostic first session. **** has a $4500 deductible.

A credit was applied to ****'s credit card on file for the amount of $83.91. **** was charged $150 for session 1 and 2 (visible in chart in letter). The second session should have been at the $87.72 rate.

It seems to me like ******************** is upset he has a high-deductible plan. While no one wants to have medical bills, the services were provided and Lifespan does expect to be compensated.

Please let me know if you have questions.

    Sincerely,

    ***************************
