    On 1/8/24 my fianc accidentally did the wrong thing on the gas pump and then cancelled the transaction and did another transaction for 20 dollars. The first accidental transaction led to a 75$ hold on my account. Then the second led to a 125$ hold. The 75$ one was taken from my account, and never put back on. The second the 20$ posted but it has been 8 days later and the 125$ is still pending on my card.The 75$ was taken from my account and I have a email from my bank saying so, but the transaction has completely disappeared from the history on my account. I am so confused. The bp will not answer the phone either. The 125$ should be back now too, right? It said 3day sold before and it has been 8. I want my money back and I hope that other people wont have to deal with this unfair and shady business.

    We are sorry the number for the gas station was wrong on ******* We have contacted ****** and resolved this issue.

    I have watched cameras and seen our payments for that day and we did not receive $75. 

    Attached is a PDF picture of stickers we have posted at the station on all doors that states:

    Your financial institution MAY HOLD FUNDS on your account that *** exceed the purchase amount
    when using a debit/credit card. This station is NOT RESPONSIBLE for placing or removing holds.

    we have contacted BP corporate and they assure us that all holds placed are done by the banks. We do not have control of this.
