We received an invoice on 2024-09-02 for generator service dated 2024-06-22. I replied the same day stating that no service was requested or performed in 2024. We had requested service on 2023-10-19 and after 3 exchanges back and forth, we let *** know that we will look for another provider on 2023-12-13 as they were unable to provide a day they would come or arrive on days they said they would. Our generator shows the annual maintenance alert was reset in December 2023 when we had another provider perform the service.

In January 2024 I asked JRB ELectrical via text to do a tune up on my generator. He responded on 1/15/24 after I sent him my address "Got it, Thanks. I'll get this scheduled" A month later I asked via text "When" and never heard back from him. I then called another company Total Mechanical and they performed the service 4/8/24. On 4/18/24 JRB sent someone over unannounced and attempted to do the tune up. I told my wife to inform them we already had conducted the service and the guy left. That day, they sent me an invoice. Since then they have sent me an invoice and each time I send an email informing the they did not perform any service for me and the emails go unanswered. While look at the invoice, they are claiming I am 90 days past due. I don't want this to go to collections. This business owner has poor communication skills. Please help me in clearing up there error.

Consumer contacted us in January ************************************************************************ March of 2023 by another contractor.  As the text messages reveal, he was informed that this is recommended after one year. We told the consumer we would get this on our schedule.   There is no need to enter the consumer's home to perform this service.  We schedule these by location to minimize costs.  Consumer did not inform us that he called another contractor.  As a result, we arrived at his house on 4/18.  There was a miscommunication between our technician and office staff and he received an invoice.  I have voided the invoice that was sent to him.  Consumer did not pay this invoice so there is no need to issue a refund.  I apologize for the failure in communication and will review our procedures to prevent this from happening again.
