    Carpet One gave me a quote for materials and services. A deposit was asked and paid job was completed and balance due was paid in full. Two weeks after last payment I was asked to pay an additional amount of about 750$ without explanation. When asked for daitals for additional costs, the owner wanted an additional 11 hours plus additional services. Initial quote was $1643.40 services/"labor" was $1992, for a total of $3635.40. I have offered to pay $300 to which the owner has demanded a minimum of $600. Communication was limited and nonexistent on date of installation this lead to added expense to remove construction materials from the job site. Installer arrived without notice a week earlier than expected while other construction projects were already set, leaving me to without sufficient time to prep for early installation, causing the additional charges and added expese of sudden removals from a separate contractor unrelated to carpet one.
