    On August 16th, we were traveling from *****, ** to *******, **, when, while on I-90 near **********, **, our brakes completely failed. We were able to safely exit the highway and drive to Kayser Chevrolet and Buick in **********, **. Upon arriving, we immediately informed the service technicians that the brakes had failed and the dashboard was showing a brake failure warning. The technicians connected their diagnostic tool, confirmed that the brakes were completely out, and said they needed to move the vehicle to the service bay for further ************* wife and I waited in the service area for an update, expecting to resume our trip to ******* soon. After about 30 minutes, a technician informed us that while they were moving our vehicle, they had caused an accident in their lot by hitting another car. They then told us that our vehicle, a 2024 ***** Suburban High Country with approximately ***** miles, would need at least a week for repairs, including both body work and brake repair. Despite being stranded, they refused to provide us with a loaner vehicle or any assistance. We waited for 5-6 hours with no further updates. Eventually, I arranged a ride to ********** to get a rental car to return home.We later learned that the dealership had caused over $2,000 in damage. They promised to "make it right," but when I received my vehicle back, there were still visible scratches, damage from the accident, and the hood now rattled. The general manager was notified but dismissed the issue, claiming it wasnt their fault and that they had the best team. This was a brand-new vehicle at the ******* date, the dealership has not addressed any of the damages or compensation for depreciation caused by the accident or provided assistance with transportation. Additionally, I found out that the accident was not listed on the Carfax report, leading me to believe the dealership intentionally withheld this information.
