      I think this is a horrible company .. They did not keep the pricing contract, and raised the price of fuel last year as soon as I got heating assistance. Went from 1.74 to 2.67 , I had contracted for 1.74 til Aug. 7th 2022. I saw 3 other complaints that were like mine, with people that got energy assistance. They were removed from their site before I could even copy them. I was billed wrongly and my son in law, who is a CPA with the VA spent a great deal of time going over figures with them to no avail. The office personnel are rude and not knowledgeable. I sent a letter to state I would not purchase any more fuel from them and wanted the tank picked up, I have another supplier that emptied and moved their tank.. It has been sitting a month , even after I called twice. I paid a bill that was not correct, just to be rid of them... But ALAS they continue the terrible policies, A payment was wrongly sent to them from Energy services for $400.00 , which they acknowledged by sending me a credit !!! I have made it very clear I WILL NOT purchase ANY fuel from them, messaged them back to forward the $400 to Wolf River Propane. Heard nothing back from them, contacted the Energy Services and told them that I have no account with this company, They called them and I was told Insight was directed to forward the Payment to Wolf River. Two weeks later I checked with them and they had NOT received the check for $400. I then called energy services and got a curt reply that it could take up to 4 months to get the credit transferred as Insight has to do a number of bookeeping changes!!! That is ridiculous, if they haven't processed it ( which I am sure they did immediately) they could return the check to Energy Service, if they did, they could either return to E.S. or forward to Wolf River Propane. Meanwhile, they have my $400 credit for gas, and according to Energy Services, they have 4 months to get the money to me, that is DECEMBER !!HORRIBLE COMPANY !!!!

      Regarding Complaint by ************************* In looking at our records for the propane contracting for *************************, we have found the following: **************** contracted 600 gallons with Insight FS at a price of $1.749 in 2021. The customer received ***** gallons between 9/1/21 and 8/31/22, putting her over her contracted gallons. When she ran over her contracted gallons, she was billed at the market price for those days, ranging between $2.20 to $2.50 per gallon. This is outlined in the contract as the policy for gallons sold over the contracted amount. In a billing error, the customer received **** gallons on 2/9/22 that were sold at $2.20 when **** gallons of that delivery should have been billed to the remainder of the contract. This ****-gallon delivery was rebilled in July to reflect the error. In looking back at the contract vs. the gallons, the customer received ***** gallons at the price of $1.749, which was **** more gallons than was contracted. The error was resolved in July and the customer received the benefit of additional gallons at the lower contract gallon price and rebilling to lower market price, all in the customers favor. We received a request for the transfer of energy assistance on 9/6/22 and will have a check sent to her new provider, Wolf River Propane, the week of 9/12/22.
