      I starting using this office in January of 2023. I asked for my bill balance the first week of February. They told me it hasnt cleared my insurance and they couldnt give me a total. I knew my insurance had a high deductible so I wrote a check for them the next week February 9, of $500. I asked them again a month later, what my balance was, and again they told me they couldnt give me a balance. March 2 I wrote another check for $200. in April I asked again what my balance was and they did not give me an answer and on April 14 I wrote another check for $400. I did not want to get behind and have a huge bill which is the reason I started paying without getting a bill in the mail. On February 28 I wrote another check for $300. I did not hear anything or get a bill in the mail until September 2023. Which was nine months later of when my first appointment was. Being in the hospital for a week that year , my deductible was covered and I knew I was not going to be responsible for more bills. My total bill from them was 802 51. On October 13 I received another bill in the mail. For the exact same amount 802 51. I figured something was wrong and I brought the paperwork into the office. The 802 51 that I paid was on my debit card. And they did have a copy that I paid it but for some reason it did not get forwarded to their main office. And according to the paperwork they sent me the only payment they received from me was $162.89 which was a strange number because Ive never paid anything that wasnt a rounded number ($500,$200,$400,$300 totaling $1400) They told me there was no record of these check payments coming through. However, the 802 ************************************************** to send them a copy of canceled checks, front and back which I did. And according to the office when I talk to the receptionist , I was overpaid by $1400.I called again to the billing office and I asked them when I was going to get my refund. They told me they had no record of my checks. So again, I sent them copies of all the checks, front and back. And I never heard anything. So I called again, and now they will not return my phone calls or send me my refund. Also, according to the paperwork that I have received, it shows zero payments from insurance company. Which I have copies that the insurance has paid. So I am thinking there is some kind of insurance fraud going on as well. But honestly, I am more concerned with my $1400, because I am greatly in debt with the hospital and I could seriously use that money to pay my other bills

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      This reply from the business I have been having issues with is not satisfactory. To me it seems they are repeating bad behavior and shoving this issue aside. They have had many opportunities to resolve this matter and look into it properly. I believe they have no intent to return my overpayments of $1400.00
