Starting the week of April 29th, I initially brought my car to the repair shop to get repairs based off the estimate/quote that was provided to me by Daves Mufflers. After "completion" of repairs, I picked up my vehicle and after 3 days of driving it, I brought my vehicle back to the repair shop due to issues and they admitted to tapping into the main gas line/hose but failed to notify me prior to me leaving the shop with my vehicle. They kept my vehicle for these repairs and didn't charge me for this time around. I picked up my repaired vehicle a week and a half later, to drive off, within 5 min., my car was overheating, no longer had heat running through it, hence it was still chilly mornings while bring my children to school. I brought the vehicle BACK again to get looked at, and Daves "repaired" the issues that were occurring but made me pay for repairs when picking up my vehicle or I couldn't leave with it. After leaving again, I made it home while my car still was overheating. After it being parked for a couple of days, while I was trying to contact **************** regarding my reoccurring issues, I got orders to bring vehicle to new repair shop and the repairs were approved to be covered per the **** *************************. When trying to start my vehicle, there was a huge splash of fluids that emptied underneath my car and I couldn't drive it to the new repair shop. I had to PAY for a tow to the new shop where my car sat in the parking lot for over a week and had yet to be assessed and hooked up to their diagnostic machine as I was reassured to and told by staff. I called every single day to then get a call this morning, 7/18/24, stating my car is misfiring and the head gasket is blown along with the timing chain needing to be replaced. I was suggested to have a brand new motor put into my vehicle, hence I am still waiting to hear back on a dollar amount for the quote to see if CEO will still cover repairs, as promised prior.

After repair was completed customer called and said that they could smell fuel. Instructed them to bring vehicle back so we can take a look at it. Found during the initial repair broke one of the fittings on the fuel line tried to repair it, but the repair did not hold. We ordered a new fuel line and it was about a week out to get part. Instructed customer to drive it sparingly because she did not want to leave the vehicle with us. Customer brought vehicle back a few days later stating it was overheating. She stopped one of the technicians in the parking lot to look at her vehicle, but he instructed her to leave it with us till we had an opening to get her vehicle in. ******** said she needed the vehicle to pick up her kids so he told her to get it home and park it until we can get it in to the fuel line and we would take a look at the overheating issue for her. We instructed the customer that the fuel line came in and we would look at her overheating issue when we got it in here. The technician that replaced, the fuel line noticed there were hoses, not attached to the coolant reservoir bottle, and one of the heater hoses. A plastic connection was cracked and broke off. We instructed them that they needed to replace the coolant holes that was broken and we would top off the coolant level and see if theres any other leaks. The cool hose that did break was a dealer only part. We did notice that someone put antifreeze stop leak in the coolant reservoir and informed customer that it was there. We only charge the customer for the part and no labor to get her going back on the road. Customer boyfriend brought the vehicle back about an hour after it was picked up from the repair. One of the technicians seen the car pull back in, went to go offer help and the customers boyfriend just yelled at him. After talking to the customers boyfriend, we told him we would look at the vehicle and see what else we had to do to keep it from overheating. Technician that work on vehicle replaced the thermostat and burped all the air out of the system. Took on an extensive test drive, let the vehicle sit in idle and no more overheating condition was found. We called customer and informed customer that the vehicle is ready and we think we solve the problem by changing the thermostat. Customer call back a few days later stating that the vehicle is still overheating and when was questioned what they did, customers boyfriend stated that he removed the thermostat to make sure that it was a new part and we werent trying to s**** them over. The customer was not charged any additional parts or labor to fix the thermostat, belt and everything else that we fixed during the repair of the overheating issue, customer basically sabotaged their own vehicle to make sure that we put a new part in that we told him we put it.
