    The owner initially comes off as a really nice guy - at first we really liked him and felt comfortable with him. However, it quickly turned into a nightmare. The owner never shows up, he told me our project would take one week and it took over 3 months. He had a new excuse every day - wife needed emergency surgery, house burned down, Covid, the flu, employees were busy and didn't want to come to the jobsite, too cold, it was gonna possibly rain,etc. He repeatedly asked to borrow our tools and broke one of them. I had to remind him 3+ times that he said he'd replace it. He never finished the job, gave up and credited us a few hundred dollars to have someone else finish. He did tuckpointing on one brick - he used a crooked brick, didn't use real mortar (he bought some tube mortar from a store nearby) and he started a fire in the fireplace within 5 minutes of putting the mortar in. I told him that would cause the mortar to crack and it cracked that same night. One day, we could hear his 2 employees talking about the owner while they were working on the roof - they repeatedly called him a coward and talked about him being clueless. The company offers a lifetime warranty on all work - but if you ever call with a problem, they won't return your call. The owner told me in person that when a customer leaves a bad review, he ignores them for warranty calls. We plan to report his contractor ID number to the state. When the owner finally finished the project after 3 months he suddenly wanted to be paid immediately and was calling and texting me late at night. It was the first time he actually responded to calls/texts. Long story short, the owner of this company is unintelligent and unprofessional and put us through a nightmare.

    They did some work on my sons condo fireplace & it seemed to go well. Then asked josh to look at our chimney on our house as there was no fire stop project started & stopped. Didnt show up when he said they would . Then said our chimney top was done incorrectly so he had someone he knew to replace the chimney. First storm after they did this & the chimney blew off! I called him but he never came out so i hired someone else
