    I just attended the 3-day Winter Camping Workshop. Nick, Dawn and crew put on one heck of an event. I've been winter camping for several years, but NOW Outdoors and their world-class presenters taught me so many new tips & tricks, I can barely wait for January in Minnesota! Even before the event, Nick ensured attendees were well informed and prepared. While I appreciated all of the new learnings, I think I equally enjoyed the after dinner bonfires late into the night!

    I’ve done numerous trips with NOW Outdoors over a 10-year period, including local and international trips. I attended my first trips with NOW Outdoors as a single female who knew no one else and felt accepted right away. I continue to return because every trip has been such a great experience. Nick, the owner, is an excellent guide and instructor. You can tell he truly loves what he’s doing. He’s friendly, respectful, patient, encouraging, and humble. He has excellent bushcraft, survival, and wilderness medicine skills, a thorough knowledge of the environments we’re in, a positive attitude, and a passion to share this with others. He goes out of his way to ensure everyone feels safe and included, and has a great experience. He checks in with participants to see what they need, how they’re doing, and offer help if needed. Trips are organized, meals are excellent, and the itineraries offer a good mix of physical challenge, skill-building, wildlife viewing, and relaxation in breathtakingly beautiful wilderness settings. The other participants are welcoming, supportive, and generous. The other guides and instructors are outstanding. If you’re looking for a fantastic wilderness adventure with some great people, I highly recommend NOW Outdoors.
