Approximately 3 weeks ago, my Kwik Trip Debit card stopped working. I have called their corporate line 3 times, waited over an hour on hold each, requested a call back as the system allows, and never received it. It feels to me like KT is intentionally making it hard to replace my card with them as they aren't looking to have people use them.Business Response

5/28/25 Purchase Amount $15 I purchased gas and because of my short term memory issues and cognitive thinking impairment I drove off and forgot to pay for my gas that I borrowed from my dad because I'm unable to work. When I contacted the store they remembered my purchased but because I drove off and because it wasnt still on the pump they said that they were unable to refund me my money or give me gas. If someone pumped unpaid for gas that i paid for for my own car, that is technically stealing. I happened between 9:30am and 10:00am. I was at pump 9 I drive a black ******* MKC with handicapped plates and had on a black Hoodia red scarf.Business Response

On 5/25/25 I came into the ***** location to turn in some lottery tickets. The guy behind the counter told me he cant help me because of the long line. I stated Im a paying customer just like everyone else and Ive already waited as well. He said well you can check these yourself. I said no sir ***** not my job so you have to scan to make sure they are anyway. He then sold me a wrinkled torn ticket that I could not redeem. He also told me next time I come he will not help me if theres a line and I have tickets because its not fair to make people wait for lottery. On 1/28/25 about 2pm.,I purchased a car wash from ******* quick trip on 75th. St. After pulling in about a foot, i stopped puttrans. In nuetral, and then foot off break like sign said. Immediately rear end started going to the left. I was in there about 15 minutes until anybody came to help. About an hour later, employee said I had to call a tow truck myself to get unstuck. 3 days later got called back from home office? And was told after film review that I drove left while in neutral and they were not responsible. I told lady on phone that I would contact my lawyer to get my ***** tow fee back and I never got my car wash. Plus I want an apology for them trying to s**** me..Business Response

Our representative, ***** *.,spoke with the son of the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident the morning of 1/31/25 and shared the following: The driver of the vehicle entered the tunnel wash car wash. The wash equipment pulled him in. The vehicle was not centered which caused the wheel to go to the left. The vehicle then got on the part of the treadle that does not move which caused the vehicle to go sideways. During the discussion the son seemed to understand.
***** *. called the father later in the day on 1/31/25 and again explained again the circumstances of the accident. The father stated that his son had told him that ***** had said it was his fault. ***** told him that she did not say that. She had shared that it was an accident. It was not a malfunction of the carwash. She then suggested that he turn it in to his insurance company.
As a goodwill offer ***** *. offered,and Mr. ************* accepted, $68 for the towing fee and a future carwash.

Kwik Trip Rewards Plus sent my account to a collections agency because of nonpayment after they decided not to accept my form of payment because the form of. Our **** **** *. looked into Mr. ******** concerns and noted that Kwik Trip has worked with him regularly since 2021 on payment toward the account. ********************** attempted to contact him multiple times prior to placement with an outside agency. The Kwik Rewards Plus Credit and Debit card terms and conditions have specific guidelines that outline payment requirements to maintain good standing. Hello. Please help me. I bought a BBQ Rib sandwich and Doritos chips at the ***** Trip. But these food items were spoiled: the meat in the sandwich was spoiled and tasted disgusting, the Doritos chips were not fresh and with mold. I wrote to the company and asked them to return the money back to my original payment method, I paid with an *** card. But they refused to refund my money and offer me a gift card, but I don't need it. After such an experience, I don't want to go back to their store. I am attaching an electronic receipt in my letter, but the time is indicated there 2 hours earlier, since the *** card belongs to **********, according to the time in *********, the purchase was made at 7:24 a.m, December 03, 2024. I took my vehicle through the car wash at Kwik Trip in *************************** WI and when I got out of my vehicle to unfold the mirrors I noticed deep scratches on the hood. I then inspected the vehicle and noted scratches and dents on vehicle that were not on the vehicle prior to going through the car wash. I immediately notified the manager and completed a car wash incident report. Claims adjuster from Kwik Trip called and said she didn't believe the scratches came from the car wash. I had washed my vehicle by hand at home just prior to coming to car wash at **********************. I came to car wash as I could not reach the roof to get it clean. Both my wife and myself saw the vehicle before and after the car wash and know that the scratches and dents were not on vehicle prior to the car wash. The claims adjuster at Kwik Trip treating me rudely, did not return my call, did not send me the incident report that I requested and basically implied that I was lying. She only called me back after I revisited the store to get my own copy of the incident report to tell me I should not have any contact with the store employees, inly corporate. I do not have full coverage on the vehicle so I am requesting the Better Business Bureau look into this as I have had no luck with Kwik Trip.Business Response

Our representative, *** *. reviewed Mr. ********** carwash damage claim of his 2004 Jeep Liberty and communicated her findings to him. It was determined from the investigation that the pattern of the scratches on his vehicle do not coincide with any equipment in the carwash facility. In addition, upon review of the operation records and preventive maintenance work orders that no other issues were reported during that timeframe. 120 other vehicles completed the carwash operations on 9/27/24 without any other reports of damage. On 10/24/24 *** again discussed with Mr. ******** her findings. She assured him that the documentation would be retained for over a year, provided him with her contact information and instructed him to have his insurance company or attorney contact her to discuss the matter further.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[I do not agree. Most of the scratches run in the direction of the brushes and the few gouges that don't were most likely caused by the metal bar that the brushes attach to coming down on the hood of my vehicle and vibrating side to side. As stated previously, I do not have full coverage insurance on this vehicle so my insurance company will not get involved. As I previously stated, I and my wife both inspected the vehicle just prior to and just after the car wash, so we know for a fact that the scratches came from using the car wash. I would like Kwik Trip to send out an unbiased insurance adjuster to inspect the vehicle and if Kwik Trip has nothing to hide they should provide pictures and video evidence of the vehicle going through the car wash. I find it hard to believe that Kwik Trip will not accept responsibility for something that is clearly the result of their faulty car wash.]

Was DOUBLE charged for the same transaction . I dont use that card I literally put just enough for my transaction on that card. So it is very clear that you did in fact charge me 2x for the same transaction. 2 transactions for the Exact same amount. Put my account negative and charged all because you guys suck! So I call the store in circle pines. They say call the corporate #. So I call the corporate #. ON HOLD FOR 30 MINUTES, so I leave a message. 5 hours pass by, still nothing. on 5/21 i went to kwiktrip to get gas and some food. After paying for my items i went to pump my gas and found that someone had stuff the gas nozzle full of sugar. At least two shot glasses size amount went into my gas tank. No on offered to have me car towed I was given a piece and paper with the store leaders name and store number. After i had my car towed to ********* to get a quote to remove to sugar I sent all info to risk management who wanted me to contact my insurance company to file a claim. I spoke with Green bay PD who view the cameras and they made me aware that a guest 1 hour prior to me made staff aware that sugar was stuff in there. They also said that this is 100% negligent on kwiktrips end for not closing off that pump. it will cost around 5k to get my car fixBusiness Response
