    On 05/26/23 I took my boat into the shop for an estimate. I received a quote for $1,993.37. based on the quote provided, I authorized the repairs. On 06/21/23, I went to pick up the boat and paid the invoice with my debit card. The repair shop charged my for $2,073.10. I complained about the adjusted balance. The repair shop informed me there was a "non-cash fee" of $79.73 for using my debit card. I requested the transaction to be voided so that I can pay in cash instead to avoid the "non-cash fee". The repair shop told me they cannot void the transaction and the "non-cash fee" was not refundable. I would like a refund on of the "non-cash fee".

    The form of payment the customer paid in was charged a bank processing fee for using a card. This fee is displayed in writing at the front desk next to the card terminal. A bank processing fee is not able to be reversed. This is not a fee that our company sets, nor is it a fee that our company pockets. These fees are set by the issuing card network such as ***** mastercard, etc.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    Sorry for the delay in responding back the previous email. I am not happy with Team Marines lack of effort to inform customers of the fee and refusal to reverse the transaction even when the request was made same day. I would like to pursue further investigations in the matter.
