    I responded to an ad on ******** looking for models for cryotherapy treatment. I had a consult on 05/20/2023 and determined that I would be a good candidate for cryotherapy on my underarms and chin to slim and tone these areas that could not be done with conventional diet and exercise. I agreed to pay $1900 for my chin and an additional $500 for my arms using their cherry financing at a 0% interest rate over 12 months. I needed 10 treatment sessions. Later I come to find out that I have been charged *****% interest. We agreed on a settlement of two additional cryotherapy sessions. They changed their business hours which has lost me money from time away from work. I have not seen any results after my ********************************************************************************* with proof that their cryotherapy machine has done what was agreed upon which was to slim and tone my chin and underarms. They scheduled an appointment when their facility was closed. Their employee has been calling me at late hours of the night off of her personal phone which I have never authorized. The manager/owner will not respond to my emails to resolve this issue. I can provide the detailed email I sent the business if necessary.

         Driftless Aesthetics is very disappointed how *** chose to take her concerns to a public forum versus having a conversation with ** during one of her several appointments over the course of the past 6 months.  Shes had several opportunities to voice her concerns to any staff member at Driftless Aesthetics during the course of her treatments,which she neglected to do.

         Prior to the start of any treatment, all of our clients read and sign a consent form,agreeing to the treatment being performed.  *** signed all of her informed consent forms/waiver forms,  consenting to the treatment and providing Driftless Aesthetics team permission to move forward with her treatments.   Here is a copy of the Cryoskin Waiver we use for all of our clients:

    By engaging Driftless Aesthetics (for the purposes hereof referred to together herein as the Company) to provide cryotherapy, infrared sauna, and related services (Services) and using the Companys equipment and facilities in relation thereto, I hereby acknowledge on behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives and/or assigns, that there are certain inherent risks and dangers associated with receiving Services and my use of the Companys equipment and facilities. At all times, I shall comply with all stated and customary terms, posted safety signs, rules, and verbal instructions given to me by staff. If, in the subjective opinion of the Companys staff, I would be at physical risk in receiving Services, I understand and agree that I may be denied access to Services until I furnish the Company with an opinion letter from my medical doctor, at my sole cost and expense, explicitly addressing the Companys concerns and stating that the Companys concerns are unfounded.

    I hereby (1) agree to assume full responsibility for any and all injuries or damage which are sustained or aggravated by me in relation to my receiving of the Services, (2) release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, its direct and indirect parent, subsidiary affiliate entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, members, employees, representatives and agents, and each of their respective successors and assigns and all others, from any and all responsibility, claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages,and liabilities to the fullest extent allowed by law arising out of or in any way related to the Services, and (3) represent that: (a) I have no medical or physical condition that would prevent me from receiving the Services, (b) I do not have a physical or mental condition that would put me in any physical or medical danger, (c) I have not been instructed by a physician to not receive Services, (d) no warranty or guarantee, or other assurance, has been made to me covering the results of the Services, (e) knowing the risks involved I nevertheless chose to voluntarily request the Services. Notwithstanding the foregoing (and by illustration only and not limitation), if any of the following apply to me or if Im unsure for any reason, I hereby acknowledge the Companys recommendation that I consult a medical physician before receiving Services.

    Two very important sections in the Cryoskin waiver to point out are:

    release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, its direct and indirect parent, subsidiary affiliate entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, members, employees, representatives and agents, and each of their respective successors and assigns and all others, from any and all responsibility, claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities to the fullest extent allowed by law arising out of or in any way related to the Services
    no warranty or guarantee, or other assurance, has been made to me covering the results of the Services, (e) knowing the risks involved I nevertheless chose to voluntarily request the Services.


         In regards to Cherry financing, its a third-party financing option for clients who want to break up their payments over time vs. paying for it all at once.  Cherry financing is very similar to Care Credit, Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, etc.  Clients fill out an online application.  If approved, Cherry presents the financing amount, options, and terms to the client.  The client makes the decision to choose a payment plan based on their financial situation.  Payment plans are all different and vary client to client.  That is a financial arrangement agreed upon between client and Cherry, not Driftless Aesthetics.  Clients who fill out a Cherry application are doing it based on their own free will, are adults over the age of 18, and are making adult decisions.  That agreement is now between the borrower and Cherry financing.  In this case, *** is eluding to that somehow Driftless Aesthetics is responsible for her own decision-making process and not reading her financing agreement to its fullest.  Driftless Aesthetics will not be held responsible for any such actions.  Anyone going into a financial agreement should be reading what they are signing. 


         Driftless Aesthetics refund policy is on the company website for all of our clients to review:
     At Driftless Aesthetics we work with each client to discuss treatment objectives and review likely outcomes, benefits and risks associated with each treatment. We offer individual treatment as well as significantly discounted treatment package options so each client may choose the approach that is best suited for their needs and budget.
    Once services are purchased they will not be refunded, however, to ensure our clients always receive the greatest experience at Driftless Aesthetics unused service values (cash equivalent for the remaining amount of a treatment package) can be applied to any other service at Driftless Aesthetics.
    All injectable treatment sales (such as, but not limited to Botox, dermal fillers,laser treatments, facials, lash services, or chemical peels) are final; refunds or credits cannot be offered once treatment is completed.
    We will be honest in all our dealings with you.  Aesthetics is not an exact science and how you may respond to a given treatment will vary from person to person.  It is virtually impossible to predict results and therefore payments made for services are for treatments to be performed not for a specific result.  However, we always strive to achieve the absolute best result that we can for you.

          To address Driftless Aesthetics changing of hours that has created hardship for *** and time away from work:  the organization changed its hours to offer evening hours to those clients it cant accommodate during regular business hours.  At no time has *** taken advantage of the addition to evening hours, in fact, our staff have stayed late for all of her appointments to achieve client satisfaction and consistency. 

         The concern of *** being scheduled while the office was closed is inaccurate.  Our security cameras show staff in the office, seeing other clients, during the date of concern.  In fact, *** was a no-show.  At no time did the security cameras show *** arriving for her appointment.  The staff were at the office until business hours ended seeing other clients, but *** did not call the office to notify of a cancelation.  She didnt show up.

         The concern of staff calling clients after hours is a Driftless Aesthetics team member confirming the clients appointment.  Driftless Aesethetics does return messages and correspond with clients after hours to catch those who may otherwise be working 9-5.  We offer that as a higher level of service letting clients know we are able to assist their needs after hours.  In no way are team members at Driftless Aesthetics harassing their clients.  This accusation has been taken out of context and turned into a negative. 



         Again, Driftless Aesthetics is extremely disappointed in how this matter was handled.  This could have easily been resolved with a simple conversation.  Driftless Aesthetics denies the refund based on the informed consent that was signed by *** and Driftless Aesthetics Refund Policy.  In addition, Driftless Aesthetics is not held responsible for **** financial commitment to Cherry financing.  Driftless Aesthetics wishes *** all the best.
