      Medical bills totaling $1,299.49 from several carbon monoxide leaks in my apartment. The leaks were due to my landlord not knowing how his own furnaces worked, but he claims the emergency room bills are not his responsibility. I believe he should be paying them.9/6/22 **** attempted to blame a shower leak on me, lied about it in an email. It ended up being bad caulk job, done by ****. (different situation, but is relevant to this one)9/26/22 **** sends me a generic "how to change furnace filter" video that does not feature the same furnace unit that is in the apartment.9/28/22 I asked **** about furnace filter size, he deleted my message.10/13-14/22 first carbon monoxide leak and ** visit 10/18/22 **** says he is not responsible for the ** bill in an email to me 10/20/22 second carbon monoxide leak, appointment with HVAC person for next day was scheduled by *********10/21/22 **** cancels appointment with no notice after I told him I was missing work for it the day before.10/23/22 Rock County HVAC came and assessed that the door to my furnace was put on wrong. The door needs to be taken off to replace the filter. Had I been properly shown how to replace my furnace filter, the leaks would not have happened.10/24/22 I was still showing signs of carbon monoxide poisoning, my doctor said to get my blood tested just in case, so I did.
