  SCS recently completed a large single-level screen porch to replace our multi-level three decks on the back of our house. We have a family member in a wheelchair, and we wanted a large space where we could easily navigate a power wheelchair and accommodate our entire family. SCS listened to our needs and helped us to develop a plan for our vision. Their communication skills are good. Brent was excellent at answering our many emails during the building process. Conor and Liam, the carpenters on site most of the time, were also easy to work with and answered any questions or concerns that arose. They are professional and timely. We could not be happier with the result. We even had some questions after the project was completed and they were quick to respond. We felt the pricing for the project was fair. We would recommend them to others considering a building project.

  Had some door repair work done, and am super pleased with the outcome. Looks great, plus the crew made sure moisture would not cause problems in the future. Very meticulous and quality work, and super respectful employees. Definitely recommend!

  I first hired Brent ******** shortly after he started his company, SCS. At the time I think he was the owner and the sole employee. Over the years I have returned to Brent for small and large jobs including a fireplace surround, vinyl plank flooring, replacement of an old deck with a screen room, and finishing of a basement room. These were all in our previous house. In out current house he and his crew finished the entire basement consisting of three more rooms and a full bathroom, installation of a storm door, built a screen room and installed a privacy panel to the back of the house, and added a door between the master bath and closet. In addition, his team helped with small things that would’ve been difficult for us, such as tasks that would require a very tall ladder, or tools we don’t own. Everyone on the team is extremely pleasant to work with, they communicate very well, were very thoughtful of keeping our house as tidy as possible during the project, and making sure our cats stayed safe. They even suggested a couple of kitty doors and special screening for our porch which our cats could not easily damage. We are always impressed with the quality of their work and the products that they choose. We joke with them that we continue to look for new projects for them so that they are here all the time because they make the construction process so comfortable.
