    In December 2023 I signed the first contract with **** Marrufo.It started with a $3000 down payment, I paid that and I paid for all materials. (throughout the whole project)Then he asked for another $1000, supposedly for paying his "electrician" (unlicensed guy that disappeared), but this guy never finished the job. I paid for it.Then he asked for another $2500, I paid that.Then we made the second contract, which he said he'll sign but is refusing to do so until that day.I paid $4000 for the second contract work and then another $1000, for the first contract.So far he put some drywall, his guy did a temporary fix to the furnace, he demolished part of the bathroom, and replaced 2 rotten boards of the fascia of the garage.All his work is bad, as a few general contractors indicated to me.He keeps giving me excuses of why he isn't working, or lying that he will finish the job but doesn't actually do that.He said he will reimburse me $8000, but is refusing to sign any document that will say that.He is also refusing to sign W9, which is required by law, and a lien waiver.He keeps giving excuses and lying.
