On approximately 7-1-23 I enrolled in a Debt Resolution program with Great Lakes Law Firm. For the months of July, August, Sept. and October 2023 I paid $363.21/month towards settlement of credit card debts. In January 2024 I contacted GLLF to inquire why the above amount had not been withdrawn from my bank account for the month of January. At that time I was told that my account had been closed with GLLF. I was also told that I should have received an email stating the account was closed which I never received. I was told I could request a review of the case and have the account reinstated and I requested a review. The woman I spoke to said I would hear back within 1 week whether it had been reinstated. I heard nothing for 2 weeks so I called them again. I was told the case was still in review. I called on 2/26/24 and told still in review. I called again 3/11/24 and the case was in reactivation status and that the attorney just needed to review it. I called them today, 4/16/24 and was told by a gentleman that it would not be reinstated until further notice and when I asked exactly what that meant he had no answer. I feel I have been scammed and led on by Great Lakes Law Firm. Not only did they not do what I had signed a contract for them to do, they just left me hanging. Now I have creditors calling and writing me and the $1;452.82 I paid to them is gone. I could have used this to pay my bills! If Great Lakes Law Firm is truly a bogus business I would expect to receive the amount I paid back as the services were not provided. If it is a legitimate business, though a poorly-managed one, I expect my account to be reinstated and that things be handled in a more businesslike manner. In addition I would like it to be noted that I never received any written communication from this firm regarding anything I have documented here.

I hired this company to assist with my debt. After months of them collecting my money ($2,500+) I realized they were scamming. There website links didnt work, they never answered or replied to calls (during business hours), they never responded to emails or texts, and they provided no services towards assisting with the debt. I decided to cut ties and cancelled my contract. They refunded me $658 of the $2,500+ collected over 6 months. Looking at the breakdown of supposed charges, I realized they did not refund me my retainer fee or for the services charged in which they provided zero). Retainer fees by definition are collected in advance for future use. Seeing how I cancelled my contract due to lack of services and other company red flags; future services wouldnt be occurring. For two months now I have been attempting to get the rest of my refund and they have been giving me the run around. I spoke to one representative who stated Id receive an additional $1,120 back, however they stated I would first need to sign a 3 page agreement they devised. The agreement was sketchy and I refused to sign as I do not trust them for good reason. They continue to send me the same automatic response that someone will reach out to me but no one does. I do not understand why they cant just refund it as they did the first portion of the refund. No agreement was necessary and they just deposited it into my account they have on file. This place is horrible and I hope no one else falls for their dishonest pretense to help. They kick you while you are down.

This company sought me out to obtain their services for debt resolution. They hounded me to include calling me during evening hours. They convinced me to hire them and assured me I could cancel at anytime as I was very hesitant. The plan was for me to stop payment on my credit cards and instead, they would deduct $425.00 per month via a company called ***************. They would save my money and use it to settle my debt with my creditors. At the beginning of this program I was in good standing with all creditors. I had wanted to consolidate. I started the program September 26th, 2023. I reached out to them via email, text message (to my case manager who hounded me to get me onboard and told me to text him with any questions anytime), and company chat portal MULTIPLE TIMES. No responses. When I call the company phone number during business hours it states they are not open and to call during business hours. When I go to the help/support link on their website it opens to a page that states invalid page. My messages were requests to not withdraw my December payment due to a medical emergency with my son. They withdrew it anyway causing my account to overdraft. I continued to try and reach someone (MULTIPLE TIMES) to request my January payment not be withdrawn (as Im still not caught up from Decembers fall back) and requested my program contract be cancelled as I no longer felt comfortable with their services. I do not know what to do at this point. *** contacted my bank and requested they put a stop payment on it from their end but they werent sure it wouldnt still and encouraged I continue to try and contact Great Lakes Law Firm. Ive been trying for over 2 months!! I truly feel something is amiss with this company and pray it is discovered so no one else while in need for help gets kicked when their down.

I was enrolled in a debt program for 3 years with Great Lake law firm which the took $668.38 out of my checking account monthly to take care of my credit cards which they were supposed to pay. Discovery card took me to court and the firm said they would take care of everything but for some reason in July they stopped paying discovery but were still withdrawing my money, I then found out discovery put a judgment on me. I was upset about this and told Great Lakes I want to end the program cause they are not doing what they said and I want copies of all the money they took from me and copies of all the payments they made so I can see where the money went, they told me they would close my account and send me the money thats in the savings account they have. They also told me in a phone call all copies of all transactions will be sent to me. Its been 2 months and I still have nothing and they wont answer any emails I sent I even sent a letter by regular mail and still nothing. I now have a judgment on me plus I was also charged another $500. Some dollars for the court fees and they say I owe more than what am supposed to owe and no one is helping me. I had a portal with Great Lake that had all my information of money on it but as soon as I complained they closed it so I could no longer see anything like they were hiding it from me. And now I cant get anything from them. All I want it the money they took from me and didnt use and all my transactions, withdrawals and where the money went. I always made sure I payed my part for 3 years and still got screwed and now am paying the credit card they never payed and I want to know where all my money went or is
