      When I went for a consultation at Capital Endodontics, they charged me $500. For the work itself, a simple one-hour procedure on my front upper gum, they quoted a price of $3,300. Now they call back saying they price is up to $4,400 -- for the same one hour procedure! What happened, did **************** spot a new ******* he wants? Is that the cause of his naked greed? Why the blatant BAIT AND SWITCH?

      ************* presented to our facility for an evaluation for extensive dental care.  My billing team provided an ESTIMATE for this care and made a clerical error. He reports that we charged him $500 for this initial assessment.  The fact is that he was charged $265 for this assessment.  My staff apologized for the error and offered to have the care performed at the discounted, adjusted rate.  He has posted multiple negative reviews on line despite our best efforts.  The reviews are defamatory and personal in nature.  I also personally called ************* and apologized for the clerical error made in his ESTIMATE for care and reiterated that I would perform the service at the discounted, adjusted rate.  Despite this he remained belligerent on the phone and ultimately he hung up on me.  At this point he has simply had a dental evaluation which has been refunded and no treatment has been performed.  We have offered to have his patient record copied at no additional charge should he request it and he has been dismissed from our practice.
