      Prior to taking my husband's four sport jackets to the cleaners, I called to ask them what it cost to clean a sport jacket. I was told by the woman who answered the phone that the charge was $9.00. When I got there the woman asked for my name and address, etc., and told me the jackets would be ready by the following Thursday. When I went to pick them up on Friday or Saturday, a different woman was there. She found the four sport jackets and told me the total charge was $61.00. I said that there must be something wrong because I was told the charge for a sport jacket was $9.00, and I wondered how it could be so much more. When I looked at the slip, I saw that I had been charged $14.00 for each item. The woman explained that the person who had created the charge slip had called them winter coats because they were wool and were heavy. I insisted that they were not properly listed as winter coats and asked her to please check with the person who had labeled them as such because they were sport jackets and I had been given a quote of $9.00 for each item and I left the items there. On Monday my husband answered a call from a person who said that we would have to pay the $61.00 for the items. When my husband said that we should only have to pay $9.00 per item as we were quoted, she replied that she would call the police. Then she hung up. We find this to be unacceptable behavior from a business that claims to be recommended by the BBB. This seems to be typical bait and switch behavior. I have not gone back to pick up by husband's sport jackets but should do that today. What do you recommend I do?
