Hello,I've seen on the BBB site that Eco Concrete Company of *******, ********* has a "C" rating, in part because of its failure to respond to a complaint against the business. In other online ratings too (such as on ******), there are several complaints against Eco Concrete about long delays and poor communication. All of this has been my experience too. We contracted in May 2024 with Eco Concrete for a driveway project and paid a 50 percent deposit at that time. It came as an unpleasant surprise that the company did not start the work until December, which then dragged into January. We paid in full at that time, trusting that they would complete the project (by sealing it) this spring. However, they have stopped communicating with us. We recently chose to hire another company to finish the project at a cost of $479, because we simply wanted the project ******* latest attempt to reach Eco Concrete was a letter to the owner on April 25. I will attach a copy here. It detailed the problems we had working with the company, and it requested a partial refund to compensate for the hassle and the additional expenses we have incurred. We've received no response from Eco Concrete to this letter or other attempts to reach them, for more than a ********* Concrete is an unreliable company and I feel a responsibility to warn others.

10/24/23 30% deposit paid for stamped & colored patio and sidewalk replacement 3/28/24 told project would start 5/13/24 5/7 told project delayed with no start date estimate 5/20 told again project was delayed with no start date estimate 6/5 asked when my project would start, and was told to wait for an answer from their crew 6/14 called the office to get a start date, and was told that someone would contact me that day 6/18 after not hearing from anyone, I emailed asking for my project start date and was told that I was scheduled for the 2nd week in August (12 weeks late). Exasperated with the abuse, I asked for the owner to call me, which he did, that day.6/25-7/1 work was completed without drain **************** being installed, large pile of gravel on driveway being removed, and concrete staining and sealing. (During this time, all communications were with the job *******.)7/8 text message from ******* setting 7/12 as date to complete work 7/12 afternoon text message from ******* stating work would not be completed that day 7/15 or 7/16 patio was stained without my knowledge, while I was at work. Colorization was not even close to what I had asked for. Over the following two weeks, calls and text messages to the ******* were not returned.9/6 I received an invoice email for my "completed" project. During email exchanges with the office, I was told that the ******* supposedly quit, but no one from the company bothered to inform me. Since the initial work was done, the concrete has chipped in spots, stamping was poor craftsmanship, and during sidewalk installation, at least $3000 was done to an existing water feature. The director of operations said that their project manager would review the work on 9/9.9/9 PM reviewed work and damage, agreed, and said someone would contact me later in the day with a plan. No one contacted ********* work was supposed to start on 10/16. 10/15 email from office said work would not resume on 10/16, with no reschedule date.
