    Dr. Rooter came to my house as a contractor for Choice Home Warranty. My warranty company was contacted as recommended by my local utility company as my house is using too much water. *************** had come out to replace my water meter but were unable to, due to the condition of the shutoff valves where the water comes into the house from the road. They told me to contact a plumber to have the shutoff valves replaced first.Dr. Rooter technician arrived in an plain SUV, not a loaded plumbing truck as you would expect. The technician came into my house, looked visually as my situation and left. He did no trouble shooting such as checking the valves for functionality. He then reported back to my warranty company several days later instead of right away as he said that he was going to, and stated that there was no mechanical failure. My claim was then denied by the warranty company. In the meantime, coincidently *** ********************** cashed my check for an $85 'diag' fee. I called Dr. Rooter back to complain about the lack of diagnosis and the response that I received was basically their job was done and they they would not be returning. I would never recommend this group for any plumbing work. Their work effort and customer service is atrocious. Not only am I out $85 but I must now submit another claim for $85 to have this issue readdressed.
