    The owner of this company treated us horribly. We purchased a $5000 wood stove from him and were given a two week window of when it would be installed. We called to inquire on the status, and we must have offended him, because he hung up on me. He assumed we just wanted him and/or his workers to get the job done right away for a party. That was not the case- I needed to take off work that day and we were trying to make sure we had everything ready for them. We tried to explain that if it was going to be a year out, we would have to cancel, but he just got mad at us and told us to take our business elsewhere. I sent an email and called the next day to make arrangements to get our money back. He ignored my phone call. He did send a nasty email which was demeaning and disrespectful. In this email he told us he had no obligation to refund us, and to not contact him or come to the store, and he would mail us our check back when he has time. The owner of this business is an arrogant, narcissist person. We did not deserve to be treated like that.

    I copied & pasted the response to this complaint below.***** special ordered a Wood *************** System & paid for materials on October 26th. We put a rush on things, as we were trying to beat the snow (installers have to get up on the roof) We were moving her up to front of the list and told her to plan on the Week of Nov. 6th or Nov 14th for install. On the afternoon of the 14th, she called me and wanted assurances it would be installed that week or she was going to cancel. The stove had come in, but we were waiting on chimney. The installers are deer hunters and it was opening weekend that week plus we had a blizzard coming the next day and very cold weather for the rest of the week. When I pressed her on what the big rush was on her end, she was upset about the 2 weeks of interest she was losing on her money and that they had a party that weekend and wanted it installed before then, or was going to cancel it until next summer. I couldn't promise that, so I told her I would give her money back, but not to call me next summer, as I wasn't interested in her future business. Her refund check was mailed to her later in the ********* cleared my bank a few days later. Let's all move on please.

    RUN don't walk away from this place. Paid big $ for the fancy cabinets & fireplace. Roof leaked where the vent pipe went. Water in the fireplace, Fireplace has been discontinued so I am told "go somewhere else" for service. Blower motor has already been replaced twice. I bought a fancy screen also so they took the top vent when they left, now I cannot find one ***** *** sarcasm from both of them. Now he wants to sell me another fireplace, do I have stupid written on my forehead.

    This fireplace was not purchased from my company. We were contracted to replace her blower and clean her fireplace in 2015, without incident. We made a courtesy no charge stop this summer as she was having odor issues and we offered help. I do know that the fireplace was originally installed in the early 2000's and is almost 20 years old. No idea why she is so upset, but I wish her well.
