Date of Incident: 11/16/2023 I went in for a diagnostic on my car a 2016 ****** Altima that i was having issues with rubbing and grinding when I pressed my brakes. The store advised me I needed rear brakes and rotors the store tried to charge $600 for parts on my car and for the same parts I was charged $200 from the Advance Auto Store that the store was receiving the products from. Midas completed the work and charged $249 for the work without the parts when I drove off from the lot my car was still making the same sound that I went into Midas to have fixed. i went back the next day and was told because i bought my own parts that it was the parts because they was cheaper however it was the same products Midas use. I have tried contacting the company by corporate and has not been successful. i need my car fixed with the money I have already spent to fix it.

To Whom It May ****************** customer in this complaint is fabricating the details. The customer came in for a brake inspection because she was experiencing (grinding noise). We have a price for brake pads and rotors. She did not like the price because it was out of her price range. She went to the local parts store and picked up her own parts. We gave her the labor cost to install her own parts with no warranty. She at first was reluctant to but she then agreed to it. She is now complaining of other noises. She purchased (on her own) cheap parts. She claims that the parts are the same as we quoted her, but this is not accurate. She went to the parts store and purchased the cheapest thing she could afford. We spoke to her and the grinding noise was resolved. the noise that she is hearing is a metallic noise from the improper quality of pad she purchased. Her invoice clearly states that there is no warranty. She signed it. There is nothing that we are or willing to do.
