    We would like to report false advertising. Their website specifically states the smokeless firepit we have tried to order is $316, with a sale price of $252.80 by using promo code tikipartner20. However, this code does not work. When I sent an email to the Company I was told that they do not offer promo codes on sales item, however every single adverstisement that comes up under the exact firepit we are trying to order specifically gives this price and promo code. I would like this to be honored or removed from their website as I feel this is a tactic to purposefully mislead and then not honor their prices.

    We appreciate the consumer and the Better Business Bureau making us aware of this complaint. Lamplight Farms Incorporated takes all consumer complaints seriously. 

    As a way of explanation, Lamplight does not standardly allow multiple discounts (i.e., promotional coupons along with reduced pricing) on its products.  Nonetheless, in an effort to amicably resolve the issue with this consumer, we emailed her on April 16 at 2:46PM, prior to receiving the Better Business Bureau complaint at 6:35PM, and gave her the pricing she saw on the ****** site for the Patio Fire Pit.  We regret any confusion the consumer experienced.We encourage the consumer to directly contact us if she wishes to discuss this matter further.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    While I appreciate the fact that they honored the price that they advertised (as they should). I dont accept them saying that they dont offer discounts on sales items. Please see below for the advertisement. This either needs to be removed, or they need to honor the code and price they are displaying on their own website.  Again, they offer a code to get this price and when you enter the code their site says it is not valid.

    We appreciate the consumer and the Better Business Bureau making us aware of this complaint.  Lamplight Farms Incorporated takes all consumer complaints seriously. 

    As a way of explanation, Lamplight called the consumer at 10:23am on April 22nd and left a message for the consumer. At 4:46pm on April 22nd, 2024 we called the consumer back to discuss their complaint. Lamplight was able to talk to the consumer and informed them there was a glitch on the ****** site that showed the pricing she viewed. Lamplight informed the consumer this glitch has since been removed and resolved. We thanked her for bringing this to our attention.  We informed her Lamplight does not standardly allow multiple discounts (i.e.,promotional coupons along with reduced pricing) on its products.  We asked the consumer if she had any further concerns on the matter. She said she did not and was looking forward to receiving her Fire Pit. We provided her with the tracking information for her order and thanked her for discussing this concern further with us.

    Ordered a tiki 25in fire pit from *********** Order WB12411184 and the fire pit is rusting and spotting on the top of the unit. The item has had a cover on it since the first day

    We contacted the consumer regarding their experience on 9/22 after receiving the letter from the Better Business Bureau. The letter from the Better Business Bureau is the first contact we had from this consumer.  During the call with *******, he advised us their Fire Pit was only used once and it was purchased in May of 2022 at *********** The consumer advised us that the Top Ring is the part that is rusting on their Fire Pit. We asked the consumer to submit photos of the Top Ring rusting and proof of purchase. Once we receive photos and proof of purchase of the Fire Pit rusting we would be able to come to resolution by sending them out the correct replacement part. We let the consumer know we are always here to assist them in any concerns or questions they have regarding their Fire Pit. The consumer thanked us for calling regarding their issue.
