We hired them to do our kitchen reno, new wood flooring in kitchen/bath and refinish entire 1st floor wood flooring to match, add recessed lighting and repair drywall, update stair rail and balusters, and put in a new exterior door and storm door and create a exterior duct to vent out microwave hood. The job started on April 10 and was to be completed June 15. They still have not finished as of Sept 18th. The first ********* that put up our new cabinets damaged them requiring me to buy new crown, a door that was misdrilled and he chipped them and sloppily tried to cover up his mistakes with paint. The cabinets ultimately had to be reinstalled. This person was fired apparently. I have yet to be compensated for the extra pieces I had to repurchase. They enlarged our fridge space but had to redo the drywall twice because they didn't make it the correct size. We were told to have new fridge delivered and the space is still too small. The new side door isn't shutting properly and I've asked for it to be adjusted for a month now. The hood duct was not correctly installed on the exterior and now our siding is separating and the duct is exposed. After 2 months of new drywall in LR, 2 cracks developed which they are now fixing...they has to patch the entire ceiling twice now because it was blistering and bubbling. Stair railing rise was 3 inches off on one end and I had to tell the ********* this. A different ********* came to fix it few days ago and said it's done but the shoes and balusters havent been secured and there are exposed screws which we didn't have before. The original person doing it quit before finishing and our project manager has now quit. We were told they could do everything we asked but they've proven they are not qualified. Very disorganized and poor communication. Owner finally came out to look at problems and had no answers. He also did not reply to last text and email I sent many weeks ago. Subcontractors also dented and scratched our new wood floor.

Our goal is to finish this project out.  See email sent yesterday

      *****,

I am very sorry that I haven't gotten back to you sooner.  I have been facing many challenges on different levels(personally and business) and I didn't make this a priority.  I am very sorry about that.  I know that you are very upset.  Our remodeling side of the company has been very challenging to say the least.  I saw your complaint on BBB.  Before responding I wanted to send you this email.  There have been issues on the project and I am accountable for that.  I have talked with all involved in the project and feel that the issues continue to be addressed promptly(by our team....I know that I haven't been responsive lately).  While this project has had many challenges(some out of our control) I want to use our right to cure and close this out with JB.  Again, I acknowledge and understand your disappointment on this project.  I am confident that we will continue improve our processes and communication and close this project effectively.  Our employees and subcontractors are talented, professional and capable.

I know that ******* and ***** are meeting with you on Wednesday.  Let me know if I can be there as well?  I would like to discuss how we move forward.  Let me know if that is something you are willing to do.
