      I currently rent at Avanterra at ************** and the moment I moved in here I experienced racism from the property owner *****. She has stalked and picked on me since I moved in. Im a landlord myself and when I tell you this is unacceptable she comes off like she so friendly but she definitely not! Her husband stays up at the leasing office youll think he lives there but yet she complain about company I had well she thought I had it was really my 17 year old black son. I was the third person to move in these house and I was excited but my experience here brought me anxiety I never dealt with racism. After selling my home in the city I really thought moving to the suburbs would be a better experience until I buy again but living here I wouldnt recommend

      Springs, *********. I cannot wait for this sentence (LEASE) to end! No-one should be forced to live in these conditions & pay the ever increasing monthly rent w/o merit. I've leased over 20 truly luxury properties all well known developers. This is not one of them. If you'd define a HOSTEL as luxurious - this is the place to be! Luxury: noun ; state of great comfort & extravagant living...Low End end cheap appliances never worked from day 1, Bath fitter small cheap tub setup. No amenities, small garage with old stationary bikes and some old free weights...Smart Home Apt System Cannot Be Used (no-one knows how to set up!! What am I paying for? Can't use doorbell camera or keyless entry - no-one knows how to setup!! You will notice rent increasing in $50 increments until one day you're paying $150 over what you were quoted. They. will gang up on you, refuse to discuss and will retaliate. Management is new monthly, I have an idea why. The latest "Manager" is perfect, she triple bills fees (prob makes a mint in monthly bonus) is condescending, rude and lacks professionalism and people skills but I'm sure she recovers any concessions given out with the fraudulent billing. Run like dictatorship.9 months later - nothing repaired, refund not given for **************** in former residents name foe over 2 weeks - took office that long to call provider and setup my account! What protection do I have with a lease? None. they can do whatever they feel like and they do here. AVOID at all costs! Too many options in area to choose from. If they have to give Months free, cash back & rental rebate programs - there's a reason why! Too good to be true applies.

First, we want to clarify that we do not engage in fraudulent billing practices. All charges are applied strictly in accordance with the terms outlined in your signed lease agreement. Transparency and fairness in billing are paramount to us, and we are committed to upholding the integrity of our lease agreements. If you ever have concerns or questions about your charges, we encourage you to reach out to our team, and we will be more than happy to provide a detailed explanation and address any inquiries you may have. Secondly, upon inspecting your unit, our team did not find any growth, but we did identify some housekeeping issues and an unauthorized pet. Additionally, we were informed that the county conducted an inspection for growth at your request, and no issues were found. In accordance with our community policies, we issued a notice to remove the unauthorized pet. Regarding your comments on rent increases, we understand that pricing concerns can be frustrating. Rent increases are based on market conditions and other factors, and we aim to be transparent in our communications regarding any changes in rent.       I did an application which they charge me $870 and they told me I have to wait for 30 days to get it back they took this money right out of my card they should refund this back no help on getting my money back. Nice apt. But bad service

      Hi, Thank you for reaching out. After an application fee is submitted it is processed through our accounting team. In the event you do not ************ and are due a refund, the refund has to process through our accounting team again. This includes our onsite team closing the account and preparing a final account statement and then our corporate accountants processing it and sending a check in the mail. We currently do not have the option to return the funds to your bank account as we do not save that account information. It can take up to 30 days for the full process, but can sometimes be received quicker depending on the speed of the mail. We appreciate your feedback regarding this and will use it to improve our processes. If you have any questions you may contact your local property or our corporate office. Thank you

      Springs at lakeline has a horrible management team, Smynra, called me lair after asking the front office personnel when i could talk to her about ending my lease to travel to see my mom grave after her sudden death. blocked me of paying my monthly rent and i have sent her two messages on the apartment portal even left her a message in the front office that i wouldn't be able to leave the country because i got laid off of my corprate job and i couldn't pay the over priced ending the lease 4 month early. She has sent me a bill for almost 5 k stating that i should pay that amount or i will get evicted and eviction notice while i am emailing her that i want to pay my rent please adjust my rent amount. she deleted my last year contract from the portal so I can't show it to my lawyer. Her employee who is named Jose, hang up the phone on me while i was asking him why i have that amount of almost 5 k if i left you guys 2 month notice and he mentioned they preleased the apartment and i have to pay that money and leave and he does not care and I will get evicted. No wonder if his manager refused to hear my situation or finding a doable solution where i can end my lease peacefully after being a respectful resident comply with all my lease terms for 5 years. From my own experience since that person became the complex manager is she has no courtesy, not a polite person, rude to tenants, for me and i heard the same from others, knows nothing about customer service or customer support and can not even manage a tacos stand. The main gate wasn't working properly since covid almost broke every two weeks for a month, And she never tried to get it fixed and her issue is the supply chain problem from covid time till June 2023. I wonder where is those people dignity to use the tenants circumstances in such a recession time.

We want to clarify that when you requested to end your lease, you agreed to pay the termination fees online on the same day. However, we did not receive the payment as agreed.Regarding our communication, we received your messages through Active Building. I checked the last few messages we received, and all were responded to within 24 hours, including messages sent on weekends. Regarding the cancellation of your notice to move out, we regret that we were unable to accommodate your request. Once an apartment is preleased, we are unable to retract a notice to move out. We understand that this may be disappointing, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.Regarding your claim about your lease contract being deleted from the portal, leases are not stored in the online portal, however, we can provide you with a copy of your lease if you require it. Please reach out to our office, and we will be more than happy to assist you. We would also like to clarify the situation regarding your conversation with ************ was your girlfriend who called our office on your behalf, and as per our policies, we are unable to discuss your account with anyone not listed on the lease. We apologize if this led to any misunderstandings or frustrations.Lastly, we want to address the issue with the main gate. Please be aware that the gate malfunctioned due to a damaged callbox caused by severe weather conditions in May. We ordered a new callbox to rectify the issue, and it was repaired in June. We sincerely apologize for any negative experiences you encountered, as it is our goal to provide exceptional service to all residents.       Springs of Hamburg in ********** ** overbilled me for months for water and sewage costs. When brought to their attention they were dismissive and negligent in handling the problem. I terminated my lease with them as I refuse to do business with any company that overbills, and handles the problem with total incompetence. Left the apt with rent paid and in pristine condition. Advised them I would not pay any termination fees on lease due to their poor business practices. Build me anyways and sent to collection agency. Do not rent from this company. You have no control over all the charges they include with your monthly rent!!

      We want to express our sincerest apologizes for the experiences you had with our office team when you expressed your concerns about high water/sewer billing, and although we cannot go back and change these events, we want you to know that we are truly sorry for the inconvenience, stress, and uneasiness this caused you when you were a tenant. It is never our intention to disregard or ignore a resident when they have an issue or concern, especially with high utility bills as we take these matters very seriously.

      Per our previous emails when you were still a current resident, we refunded you for the high water and sewer usage and backdated from when you received your first monthly water/sewer bill. Your account was credited the difference. And although this was not a favorable experience, we still have to enforce the terms of the lease agreement which requires all residents who wish to terminate his/her lease early, to submit a 60-day notice in writing and are then required to pay termination fees if the lease is not completed. Since we did not receive the termination fees in full upon move out, we in turn made multiple attempts over the course of 30+ days to collect the balance but did not receive payment, which resulted in the balance being turned over to collections.

      I moved into Authentix Apartment in ******* . I have had nothing but problems since we moved in . The first problem that I had was they mark marked that I had more animals than I did. Then they told me the wrong amount for the deposit and first months rent . Therefore my rent and deposit was returned because of their mistake. Then my neighbor right below me has called multiple times for me walking across the floor saying that its too loud. Then she went as far as filing a police report, a noise complaint, stating that I walk too loud. I am now at the point where the manager just wants me kicked out and my kids. The lady directly below me is living in a two bedroom apartment with six people in the apartment doesnt do anything about that. They are trying to get me evicted under falls noise complaint. Please shut this apartment down or find them for letting more people live in an apartment or evicted the people below me. everyone should know how bad this apartment is to move in and how the management is inappropriate rude disrespectful.

      Absolute Nightmare. In my 10 years of renting I’ve never seen a more poorly managed company. Can’t accept transfer gas bills, therefore causing me to get charged months of gas bills, despite me following all stop service processes for centerpoint. Center point told me it bounced back to me because they didn’t reply or call back. Then there’s the security deposit fraud. Not giving interest despite being minnesota state required, billing me for things that didn’t happen ei shampooing already clean carpets, cleaning windows that had window caulk on from the shitty and quick assembly, etc. and not returning the check within the required time or supplying the itemized list of withdrawn amounts in the timeline dictated by state laws and their own lease contract. I wish i never had rented here. Lakeville MN
