They committed to provide me rehab for my drug addiction and while I was there no medication was provided to me for opioid use disorder when they were giving it to the males but not me guys name was ************ This was about 2018 I believe and so I couldn't get the right properly stay in rehab so I had to leave then after this I relapsed right away and started using ***** instead of heroin now I'm back on probation cause of them and allot of trauma has happened to me as well the nurse that denied me was ********************* and I've been a addict for 15 yrs but yet she only wanted to prescribe me mental meds! And they threatened me to get cops involved at a rehab and messed my whole stay up I felt attacked and this is not right I was county funded I didn't pay thank God but look at what happened to me due to denial of Suboxone we're in a opioid crisis here and I overdosed after leaving there due to no medicine provided to me but all the males were receiving it one was my friend

    Business Response

The problem expressed in Ms. ****** statement is one of being denied a prescription to Suboxone while in residential treatment in 2018.  At that time Arbor Place, **** had a contracted medical provider *********************, NP. It is not an Arbor Place, ****policy to prohibit any form of medication assisted treatment that is appropriate for an individuals care, as evidenced by Ms. ****** statement they were giving it to the males but not me  However,it is also not Arbor Place, **** policy to force our medical provider to write a prescription of a specific medication such as Suboxone if the provider determines it is not an appropriate medication for an individual.  This is a medical treatment decision that was between Ms. ***** and *********************, NP.

Ms. ****** desired settlement is indicated to be no further contact by the business.  It is not an Abror Place, **** practice to attempt contact of an individual without reason.  For example, if Ms. ***** has been referred to services by someone, we may reach out to her to follow-up on this referral.  Arbor Place, **** is not the only provider of substance use disorder treatment services in the region.  Certainly, a different provider may be selected by her.  The only exception to this is if Ms. ***** needs completing an OWI Assessment. Arbor Place, **** is the only designated assessment facility for residents of **** and ***** Counties.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

They are a facility for drug abuse and my probation agent sent me there due to the fact of my heroin and opioid abuse that I've been fighting for 15 years this is not right to make up excuses on there behalf not only **** new about my heroin abuse and pills but she also wanted to prescribe me  amphetamines instead of what I needed which is Suboxone or methadone I have a criminal record full of drug history and I've had to plead out to charges that weren't valid. The guys name was ************ That told me she had him and many other young men on opioid medication but not me she ********************* and arbor and department of human services all no I'm a struggling herroin addict in this opioid crisis that usa has and the fact that this doc denied me and these businesses went along with the decision and then kicked me out of rehab I then relapsed and got heavily addicted to fentanyl and much more herroin I do not Accept this at all they put me at my rock bottom my life is full of ptsd and trauma now because of **** and arbor and dhs . Who what why when and how could they do this to me I'm a educated young ****** graduated high school I did some college and I have health insurance records of this lady prescribing me psychotic medication when infact I begged her for Suboxone or methadone many times I have only dreamt of completing rehab and succeeding In life. My beauty school kicked me out I became homeless I got kicked out of my home all due to the fact of being denied rehab and the help I needed I ended up in a hotel after being kicked out of arbor ***** dollars my boyfriend and I spent living at this hotel while she had me on a commitment and I told **** fine you won't prescribe me Suboxone or methadone but everyone else I will get it on the streets and that's exactly what I did but of course I didnt get into a program for suboxone that fast i was so hurt i used and overdosed now im on medication for my herroin and ***** use but not at her expense its to late for that i will npt ever see her as a doctor i see her as a liability.
