I have been feeding Fromm dry cat food to my cat's for the last year & loved the food until now. We do animal rescue and 6 cats stopped eating and drinking for 3 days on this last bag of food chicken ala veg flavor, normally one of their favorite flavors. I took them all to the vet to get bloodwork & get checked out. They have liver, pancreas, and kidney issues which my vet says is directly related to their food. She said throw it out now-maybe a bad batch of food. She thinks we caught this in time and hopefully each cat will recover. I reached out to Fromm to ask them to test the food I had been feeding to see if there was something wrong with it. I don't want this to happen to other people's pets or mine again. The girl I spoke with was not compassionate and said they would not test what I sent them. She said there was no need to test because it was tested when they made and bagged it. She said they (The Fromm company) take no responsibility for contamination after the bags leave their factory and that their could never be a mistake in their testing. So now I am stuck with 6 cats vet bills and not knowing if the Fromm food is indeed contaminated or not. I wanted to continue feeding this since my cats liked it but because since they won't test it I'll have to change to another brand of food. And what is their guarantee about if they don't cover anything after it leaves the factory since people can't buy it from the factory? Just some things to think about when buying this food. The company clearly does not stand by it's product omce the consumer buys it. Beware!
