    Bought Arborvitae's from Mid-State Trim Tree Sales. Planted 05/19/2021 with a 2-year warranty. 7 trees are dead. I have tried contacting *********************** supposed owner of this business many many times over the last 6 months and when I hear from him, he wants pictures and a copy of invoice which we send to him. He has offered to replace the dead trees with white pines but all it is, is his rhetoric hoping we will go away. On 06/02/2022 we had contact with him on the phone and he told us to call on 06/23/2022 and he would have a plan to get this issue solved. Tried calling, messaging, texting and e- mailing and not a thing from him. I even went as far as to have a soil sample analyzed at the * of M and the result was ideal soil for planting arborvitaes. I want him to be responsible and take care of this.

    We have contacted customer to replace and waiting for trees to complete new growth prior to transplanting. we also provided copy of warranty to customer. Customer agreed to replace with whitepines. warranty states we do not cover over watering/ under watering, weather, animal damage. no cash refund. we have agreed to go above and beyond to replace for customer one time. weather allowing and permitting will start to dig trees soon. understand that customer wants completed right away as if a tree is shocked will take time to recover.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    First of all, this business has never contacted me in regard to what they are going to do. I sent them a copy of the WARRANTY not the other way around. i would like to settle this matter but all I can do is wait for them to call. I am ready anytime they are and ready on my end. Please have them call and follow through on the warranty claim.

    Mid-state trim tree sales Chris Mazola came out to Cottage Grove today 08-21-2022 with replacement trees. I want to close my complaint against this business.  They wanted to dig up all the good arborvitae trees and replace them with white pines.  I told him no and sent him on his way. We did not get the bad arborvitaes replaced and I am OK with my decision. I am done with this issue.
