    I could provide a long list of missed court deadlines and missed appointments. However, this complaint is because my now ex-husband was granted a divorce at trial without providing basic documentation of his financial state -- no accounting records, no list of assets, no tax returns - just his word about how much he earned, The divorce was July 31, 2024. I was billed and paid $5300 on October 9, 2024. After that date, I told her that I was unhappy with the fact that my husband did not have to provide any evidence of his financial status and that I thought that she should have filed motions or at least mentioned to the judge during the trial that he had not cooperated with discovery and that the dollar amounts he listed on court documents were inaccurate. She said I was disrespectful and I received an invoice on November 14, 2024 for an additional $1080. I do not think she provided a service to justify this additional fee.

    Multiple attempts were made to obtain income information from Ms. ********** ex-husband.  He advised that he kept no formal business records, such as profit and loss statements.  He did provide a listing of business assets.  We also made arrangements to have Ms. ******** walk through his business office, which she declined to do. Ms. ******** told me repeatedly  that her ex-husband lied on all filed tax returns so that information would have been unreliable.  We were given complete copies of her ex-husband's business bank account statements, which showed all of his business deposits and withdrawals and which helped form the basis of the court's determination as to his income.  At the conclusion of trial, Ms. ******** expressed relief and satisfaction with the outcome.  I worked on her case following trial, specifically concerning a pending motion filed by her ex-husband.  Nonetheless, I will not seek payment for the outstanding balance.
