  I rented a vehicle for 1 week. When first receiving the vehicle, the gas level was not on the full mark, and inside the vehicle was dirry and not vacuumed. This was documented with security guard at time of check out. Then after a few days of having the rental I had to return this vehicle and exchange it, because the oil light came on, and the back windshield wiper didn't work.properly. I spoke with ONIKA Budget Customer Servixe who advised me to return the vehicle. Onika promised me a free day off this week rental. Onika provided me with a case number. After returning the vehicle and receiving my e receipt. I called Customer Service on April 8. Apeil 9, and April 10 . Provided them with case number, only to be told misinformation, and instead of receiving a free day, my bill increased. I asked to speak with an supervisor on April 9, and April 10, only to be placed on hold for over 45 minutes with no answer at all.. i would like to have my free day rental applied to my account immediately.

  I rented a van through Budget via ****** Travel on January 16, 2025, for a trip starting March 21, 2025. Collectively, my husband and I waited over nine hours for a vehicle and left without a vehicle. I have reached out to Budget five times via email and twice via ******** with zero response, explanation, or apology. In addition, I had to **** home from the airport, as I wasnt planning to leave without a vehicle, then had to take my own vehicle on spring break, with Budget failing us royally. We were not the only people affected by the poor planning on Budgets part. We will never rent through them, or recommend them, again. If I could give them negative stars, I would.

  I rented an intermediate suv from Budget over Memorial Day. I waited in line over half an hour to get my car. There was no one in the lot to help. The car I received was a buick envoy whose is a subcompact. It had recently been sideswiped and was not clean inside. We had an appointment that we were late for so we took pictures of the car and tried to call to report. There was no answer. We then called ****** because we had reserved the car through them and reported that the car was damaged and also dirty. They took the information down and told me to call back after I got home if I wasnt satisfied. When I returned the car I showed my pictures and explained what hat happened. A week later I received a bill for ****** for cleaning of smoke smell. I have never smoked, nor has anyone who had been in the car. I called to explain, but they said they had proof. I told them that I called ****** to complain about the damage to the car and that it was not clean. They said it didnt matter and offered to charge only ******. I said forget it because I dont smoke. I told them that I wasnt going to pay, and had my credit card dispute it. I will never rent from Budget or there affiliates. They are shady! Renters be ware.
