On January 30, 2023, I went to West Allis Dental because I thought I had a cracked tooth. An X-ray was taken and *********************************** said I needed a crown-I thought a root canal. The crown was done and I continued to have unbearable pain. He stated that a root canal was needed since the crown was not working. The receptionist ****** said sometimes they dont know for sure until they have completed a procedure. I ask the name of the current owner which she would not provide. I stated that I wouldnt be paying for two procedures since ********** was the professional and he should have known what he was doing. On May 24, 2023, I went in for a teeth cleaning and I told Limberatos that I couldnt chew anything hard on my left side-food would get stuck in a hole. He wanted me to schedule another appointment to grind the tooth. When I went to check out, I paid for the cleaning, but, I couldnt schedule another appointment because ****** through *** said I owed a balance of $400 for the botched root canal. I again stated that I wouldnt be paying for a crown and a root canal. I have struggled with this root canal since the beginning. I was in their office on January 30, February 21, February 27 (went in for severe pain-given two prescriptions and charged $122), March 6, March 10, March 15, April 3 and April 26.Ive had a root canal in the past and have never encountered these kind of problems. I assumed and trusted that when I was given the appointment, that he was a Board Certified Endodontist. I was misled! A website states that his specialty is General Dentistry. When I scheduled the appointment for the crown, I inquired as to who would be the best doctor with the most experience. I was told *********************************** was really good.I have been a patient for over 20 years, but, my care was with a different dentist who has retired.
