I called to sign my 16yr old Twin daughter up for driving lessons, and spoke to a man named Jeremy, who claimed to be the owner after I asked to speak with a manager. Very unprofessional, rude, and seemed to be in a “rush” to get me to sign up and PAY. I had called two other driving schools prior to calling Crash Course just to get quotes and information before I just “sign my kids up” and any random place. Both places I called prior were very helpful and informative, but this man was in a whole other level of unprofessional. I was very taken aback by all of this, especially coming from a “business owner” that’s teaching driving lessons!!! A job that is high stress and needs a special kind of person to fulfill this type of job. I wouldn’t let this Jeremy character teach my dog how to drive, let alone my kids!!! He isn’t even accredited by BBB and everything I’ve researched thus far just further proves to me that Crash Course Driving School is being operated by a “slum owner”.

I just completed my 5th lesson with Crash Course and I am not super impressed with it thus far. To start, the lessons to help me for my permit were rubbish. The videos repeated multiple times, and the videos themselves were such poor quality; it was sometimes hard to even understand what was going on. Secondly, I am always ready for my scheduled lesson, but sometimes they come over a half an hour early and then are upset when I am not ready! I understand the frustration, however it is unfair to make a student wait by the window for over a half an hour, if by chance, the instructor comes early. And lastly, I have now had three different instructors. For the last three lessons, I have had an instructor that has done nothing but make fun of and ridicule my mistakes. I am not being oversensitive; I have a bunch of classmates who say the same thing about this instructor, which is really sad. I practice driving at home, and when I come to lessons I am usually aware of my mistakes and dont need a 3 minute spiel when there is a minor mistake (like going ONE over the speed limit- it really happened!) This is really frustrating to me. I paid a lot of money and expect a good balance of pointer, tips and when necessary, a harsh reminder. It is hard to learn how to drive properly when the instructor is creating an unwelcoming environment. Also, she is always on her phone and then jumps to conclusions about what I did or didnt do, when she wasnt paying attention (like me checking my blind spot) because she was texting. This makes me really upset. Again, for a low income family, it is a lot of money for lessons, and I was really hoping that I would feel more confident and empowered to continue driving.
