    On October 11th 2022 RJ heating & air conditioning came to my home to repair my furnace shortly after the repairs were completed myself and my children started getting extremely sick (headaches , dizziness, feeling nauseous, vomiting) after about a couple weeks or so of just feeling horrible we went to stay with my boyfriend it took a while for us to figure out that there was a gas leak because we had gotten almost used to the smell but I finally had an inspector with the city and WE Energy come out and they said the gases are coming from the furnace and that me and my children are lucky to even be alive I trusted them I didnt have a carbon monoxide detector me and my children would be dead right now

    We were called out to the home of *********************** on 10/11/22 for a noise complaint, saying it sounded like something was rolling around on the inside of the furnace.  Upon inspection, ************** found that the blade on the inducer assembly had broken and needed to be repaired.  We tested the unit and found no further issues.  No contact from the customer until 12/8 when we heard from ******* the customers daughter saying they weren't feeling well and felt sick.  We came out and found that the secondary heat exchanger had cracked and was repaired within 24 hrs.  That was not reviewed at the time of the original call because it was a noise complaint and nothing to with the secondary.  

     

    The first time we were notified of the issue, we were out immediately and have since received numerous glowing reviews from the customer.  The customer complained to the ******************** before even coming to us to give us an opportunity to come out and figure out what was going on.

    I have used RJ ******************** since I lived in my home. I owe them for some previous work and the owner ****** was more concerned about getting heat in my home than my outstanding bill.

    I would like to say think you to ****** - one of the owners of RJ Heating. Although I have an outstanding balance with you, your first concern was getting my heat turned back on in my home. For that I am so thankful. My daughter and her 2 kids live with me and when I needed to get the motor replaced on the furnace - I was under the impression that my daughter paid for the service. She told me how much it was and that she would take care of it. Needless to say I was so embarrassed when you mentioned the outstanding bill. I understand things happen but she should have told me the truth about the bill. I explained to her since she didn't pay you guys I was going to take care of paying you and that I wasn't going to be able to help her buy things for her kids for Christmas and that she needed to explain to them the real meaning of Christmas. Frankly we do for them throughout the year, so 1 day out of the year won't hurt if they celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. Its the acts of kindness and love that people show to one another. Not the gifts that they expected to receive. I told my daugher that I wasn't going to go all out for Christmas for the grandkids because I need to get you guys paid off. She keeps telling me not to worry about it she will pay it, but as *************** stated "that's not what I'm about" I want to pay my bills when I can and not make it harder for me later. Again - thank you so much for getting us heat in the house. It was greatly appreciated. Thanks again for everything you have done. ***********************
