    I purchased a Dynatrap insect trap, model DT1050 on May 1, 2022. Since that time the company has had to replace their defective replacement units on 4 separate occasions, the first, during September 2022, again on October 4th, 2022, again on October 10th, 2022 and lastly on April 26th, 2023. They appear to have a very poor track record of replacing defective units with other, either reconditioned units or supposed new units, all of which fail within a short period of time a 4 month period of time. I contacted the company this morning, August 21st, 2023 due to another failed unit and was informed that replacement units are not warranted and that my only recourse was to purchase a new unit. At this point I would still like a replacement at no cost or a full refund.

    Purchased a dt1775. Bulb is out. Was told bulbs are only good for 3 months. Tried to buy replacement bulbs (*****) VIA CUSTOMER SERVICE only to be told those bulbs cannot be shipped to ******* PER STATE LAW. It was no problem to sell me a $200 plus device with the light originally. So now I have a completely useless unit! Asked the customer service rep for a supervisor to discuss resolution only to be told one would call me back. No one ever called!

    The lights on my Dynatrap Model DT2000XL do not work, by reasoning of what I'm guessing to be a faulty ballast. However, you cannot order a replacement part from Dynatrap, and their representatives instead urge you to purchase a brand new model (when this model is less than 2 years old). A new ballast costs approximately $25 tops, but they want you to spend $180 for a new unit. Not only is this bad business, it's bad customer relations. All I want is to do the work necessary to fix the problem, yet Dynatrap does not want that at all.
