But then when they say its fixed the heat is on 80 and she cant turn it down, she has to open her windows she lays her rent on time every month why does she have to go thru this? And the manager on site, her name is ****.

    see attached

You moved into Southgate Square of June 1, 2022. You signed a HUD lease on June 1, 2022.

Section 16 of your lease that you signed, states you must report any income changes between your regularly scheduled recertifications. (See Attached copy of that portion of your lease). You failed to report any changes that started June 14, 2022 (14 days after you moved in) and it was discovered when we ran a EIV report. You fraudulently accepted government subsidy on your apartment.

You were sent your letter on December 27, 2022 informing you of your lease violation and you did cooperate with ****** sending all the third party verifications of your additional income.

On July 19, 2023. ****** informed you that the back rent due was in the amount of $362.00. You decided you were not going to sign the paperwork and instead move out. Informing us to moving out and not signing the back interim paperwork does not relieve you of your financial obligations to HUD.

This was of YOUR doing. You owe back to HUD, funds you were not entitled therefore, your security deposit funds were sent to HUD to pay back to them what is owed. Your balance due is $101.81.

If you feel HUD is in the wrong for taking your security deposit, I would suggest you take this situation up with *************************, ***** agent to HUD. You may reach her at ************. Perhaps you can explain to her HUD. You may reach her at ************. Perhaps you can explain to her why you felt the need not to report your income and why you do not think you should pay any of the funds back to HUD.
